Based on the information from others and my experience I like the item!

The Roku interface is about the best out there and the amount of channels is excellent. I bought this to replace a Roku 2XS and this is much more responsive. If you're looking to ditch cable or satellite this is the best way to do it.

This little stick will allow you to get rid of cable. It provides plenty of free streaming channels. I decided to subscribe to Sling TV to get some foreign channels and soccer, but it is only about 20 bucks a month. Much less than cable.

I use this in an upstairs room that doesn't have a cable outlet - it's perfect. We also take it when we travel so we can watch more than the boiler-plate hotel offerings. It's easy to connect to WiFi and works like a champ!

I am a road warrior who was tired of inadequate programming on hotel tv's. This device allows me to watch my Netflix shows on something larger than a laptop screen and control it with a remote. Next step is to cancel my cable at home!

Works fine with Sprectrum app on all channels available on by dvr. Only negatives are occasional pixelation(not frequent) and the interface definately needs a remote with numbers. Going from 5 to 501 takes a lot of pushes on the dial.

Bought it for my grandmother to watch streaming videos and there's a lot of menus to go through. For some reason the keyboard support for the app when you're trying to search for stuff doesn't work. For me at least. If buying for someone with very basic electronics skills, a Chromecast might be better.

A lot of entertaining apps to download from. Way better to order movies trough here than direct tv. There cheaper than direct tv and pretty cool work out apps if your into that. YouTube, Netflix, starz movies for my baby is a plus. I only gave a 4 because I don't think you can browse internet on this

This product is great and easy to use. The remote control is excellent reception wise works from anywhere in the room. Excellent choice for a room in the house that doesn't have cable Like a guest room or something along those lines

I was reviewing many devices as I am thinking of cord-cutting. This offered the most channels for the lowest prices. I have access to many channels that I never knew existed, allowing me access to many different movies and shows.

I bought one some months back and liked it so well that when you put them on sale, I got one for my brother and gave it to his family for Christmas. He loves it! He knew almost nothing about streaming media till I gave him this device.

This is an INCREDIBLE provision! I have an old TV that has not access to Netflix, Hulu, JW.org and many more! This gadget allowed me to keep my old tv and saved me an unnecessary expense. I am so grateful for this Roku apparatus!

Had the box and wasn't happy bought the roku stick and it works beautifully much quicker connectivity faster response when using remote don't have to aim the remote at the box any more night and day easy installation and portability

Love the Roku products, and this one does not disappoint! Bought this for my daughter's TV which does not have cable. This product works as well as my Roku 3, and the fact that it supports 802.11ac means it runs great on the network.

So far I am pleased with my purchased, it does what its advertised to do. Apps load indeed faster, menus are navigated with much ease and faster that previous model. Some features of the mobile app are cool like private listening. So far I am happy. BUT Not worth the upgrade if you have a previous model though.

So father in law has lived under a rock for 27 years. I mean seriously, my Wife did not have cable growing up. (Barbarack) I hooked it up and showed them basic setup and now he is hooked on Breaking Bad. Spoiler alert, I created a monster.

Was so mad when I realized two of our four smart tv's didn't have the apps I need for my kids. This gadget is awesome now everyone can watch the shows they want. I was also able to hook it up directly to our projector and project shows!

If you want to finally cut the cord then Roku is for you. I have 3 and can get virtually any channel I want. Sports, movies, news. If you add an HD antenna for local stations you'll never miss cable and that obscene monthly bill.

I Should have just gone with a smart television instead of the roku

Wish we would have switched to Roku earlier! It's so easy to use and you can't beat the price. The Customer Service Reps at Best Buy were so helpful and very knowledgeable on Roku. Good Bye DirectTV - HELLO Roku... Highly Recommend!
