Remote could not pair!

I was stuck at the "pair your remote" step for hours. I was so fustrated that I even called customer support. The agent walked me through everything and still no resolution. She told me to take it back. I was thinking about buying another roku stick but researched the amazon fire stick and decided to buy one of those. Best choice ever! The fire stick was up in running in 5 minutes. I found the roku to be cheaply made and defective.
