I like my roku, it was easy to install. convenient

Customer Service is terrible. A friend came over and accomplished in a few minutes what 2 of their representatives couldn’t understand to do in an hour and 45 minutes. Too stressful! Recommendation selection only yes or no, and would recommend only if you don’t need assistance or help with a problem from them.

Bought the Roku for Netflix. It was easy to set up and it's easy to use once installed.

As long as you're not in a big hurry Roku technology may be for you. Takes a few minutes before you can actually watch anything. And forget switching between shows quickly even if you're using your cable tv provider app. I think CNET gave this a good review based on the remote but I think it's awful. Slow reacting and without and numeric keypad your always using arrow keys and the ok button to enter channel numbers and then waiting for your channel. Multiple apps have glitches and may freeze up, kick you out, or even restart the whole system for no apparent reason. Yes I'm constantly making sure the apps are updated. I can say this item is not as bad as a Roku ready tv that I bought around the same time and have also reviewed. I'm suggesting and will eventually try a different streaming device such as Apple TV. At least this item was cheap ($35 on sale) and not a big loss.

work perfect with my tv, and it get the wifi signal pretty good

Keep having to take a battery out and put back to get remote to work with the stick.

The Roku Stick has been a great intro into cutting the cord with my cable company.

Bought this as a gift for my granddaughter as part of her effort to cut the cable.
