Works okay but overheats
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought it as it sounded like a great buy but once I got it home it worked for 3 days and then could not pick up wifi signal anymore. On further inspection I realized that the HDMI connector was extremely hot, not to mention the stick is made of plastic and is very flemsy. Took it back and got another one and still having same issue with overheating. So I unplugged it from the TV, and only put power to it when I really need it, but it's a bummer because I have an Apple TV that stays connected all the time and doesn't ever need to be unplugged. I also tested Rocku stick on a second TV that I own, and noticed it's not the TV, but rather the stick that gets too hot causing something to malfunction at some point. Probably better to buy the the more expensive square shaped Roku that resembles the Apple TV for more die hard users?

Roku Streaming Stick is just okay

But, sometimes it freezes, and it takes a while to get it to do anything. It's possible that it's a wifi problem, and not the Roku, but I will give it some more time before I come to a ffirm conclusion.
