Works with Newer Model TVs

It does, however , work well with my newer televisions which have HDMI output. Note: My chromecast works well with all TVs including the Sharp. Guess I need to buy a new TV

Roku works great.

It works much better than the spectrum app on my smart tv. I will be returning all the cable boxes to spectrum they now are charging $4 for each tv. I have 8 tv's so I will be buying more roku sticks.

Ok streaming device

Also, if you plan to use this to stream playstation vue then I hope you have a lot of patience. The interface is slow and clunky. But for a second tv to stream cable it works for a one time cost of $50.

Room to improve

If you're buying it, just know that the available free content is the equivalent of endless YouTube clips. Paid content makes this worth owning, but it will eat into your monthly budget.
