I bought this because the firestick was sold out. It's a decent alternative. Not exactly equal but workable

The only issue that i have with the product is it likes to freeze up when fast forwarding what you are watching.

Great for the price.use it a collage to stream media. To our dorm easy to set up.works well with the remote

Worked well for a while but eventually started slowing down and dropping wifi signal.

Could not get past the Settings Menu during the set up process. Had to exchange it for a newer model.

Great features, unfortunately it is unstable and I have to unplug and plug back in just to watch programs.

The product is OK, but I had hope I did not need another cord to plug in, it's kind of an inconvenience

Had to wait for the free hdmi extender to actually use it. The stick is so long it hits the frame of the tv on the other side of the hdmi (westinghouse 64" led). Then for the wifi... my phone right next to the roku had 4 out of 5 bars about 30 feet from the router. It's a fios dual antenna extended range router. I can be 200 feet outside my house and still use it with my phone. Yet the roku is struggling, constantly buffering, low resolution half the time until it just quits. Also if you unplug it for whatever reason, you lose all data and have to setup the stick again. That means also waiting for it to update for 5 minutes. I'm returning it tomorrow, not worth 54 dollars at all.

I believe this was a good purchase. It is a replacement of an older version. Probably not my last.

I like the roku and I like how it has all the Services's already loaded onto it Andy ready to go.

You have to buy programs and/movies I thought there were more channels available without doing this

Bought it to use instead of cable. It buffered way too often even when we moved our wifi. Disappointed.

not much of a selection. stick gets very hot after a few minutes.

I like the Roku stick. I just wished it had more apps. A little distortion but it quickly resolves.

Have trouble with streaming movies it's too slOw I upped my speed on my internet it didn't work

We spent 3 days trying to get it to work on Sonlife Broadcasting then on the SBN site it said search for "SBN NOW." But even then it would only work for an hour or so, then loose the channel. During our 10 day vacation, my computer used the same Wi-Fi and worked flawlessly the whole time. My experience with this Roku device was very disappointing.

Im not at all that excited about this product. I mean with 90% of the channels requiring a subscription, it doesn't make sense to have it because you're not really cutting the cord. I watch a lot of movies and most of the movies are super old and then they have the nerve to had super super old movies for RENT. Are you kidding me with that?

Needs to improve the speed capabilities of the stick. The software also could use a facelift.

I love our Roku however after not quite a month it went totally black after watching a movie. I tried to return it to Best Buy but it was past the 15 day return time. The customer service rep gave me the number to reach the manufacturer and I am returning it to them and then they will send me a replacement. Hopefully the next one lasts longer.

This item did not work for us with our internet. Not enough items came in clear enough.
