We like it. It has alot of channels to choose from

So I bought this I believe sometime in the beginning of the year. I have used it three times. It overheats, it takes forever to connect to the internet. Sometimes the remote doesn't even work. If i could I would return it and just get another item than this.

The remote went bad and I had to return it. I upgraded.

Loved the stick until the very early retirement of my remote right after my limited warranty expired. Thought it was just batteries, but after several attempts to connect to no avail, the remote literally was dead.

Wanted to spend some time watching TV during holidays and hence bought it however didnt really find very easy to use. I have gigapower internet connect however it still drops the videos. Restarts by itself at times. Quality of the picture is not great either.

The Roku sure beats paying crazy high cable bills!

Remote is constantly pairing with device and device does not recognize it. Spent 2 hours troubleshooting and finally called Roku. They asked me to repeat same steps and when that did not work they said that it was a wirekess network issue. I explained that without the remote i cannot connect to a wireless network. They insisted and i changed network channel and wireless networks. When that didn't work they brushed it off and persisted it was a network issue.

I am in the apple ecosystem and have the new Apple TV which is a great streaming device. I tried Amazon Fire stick and returned it because I thought the software was horrible. Picked up the new Roku stick and really like it. It is quick, set up was easy, and the app/channel selection is really great. There are some apps not on Apple TV that are on Roku and vice versa. It's not perfect, but neither are any of them. If you aren't in either the Apple or Amazon ecosystems, then get the Roku. I haven't had any issues with it and it is cheaper than any other Roku box and it is very portable. With the app you can listen privately with wired and blue tooth headphones.
