After a while the remote stops working and has to be reset.

I have to call Roku every time I want to use my second TV.

Mywifi is too slow and far away from the unit to make it usable.

Most of the channela are pay per view. Not as good as chromecast.

Brought back to store did not work well very disappointed

Guess I'm tech challenged. Could never get it to work.

Exchange this for a competitor. Was not what I expected.

Lots of problems and often not high definition enough.

To use it, you have to provide personal information and a credit card. Neither of these items was disclosed on the box or literature before I plugged it in and tried to use it. Beyond that, why pay for something when your smart TV will already do it for you?

I tried using this product. It worked for 2days then it would work at all. Roku sent a replacement remote which did not help at all. The original remote was cheaply made. The speed of my wi-fi was not a problem and works great with the amazon stick.

Roku really needs to step up its game. Doesn't compare to the chromecast, and overpriced at that. Didn't pair well with the tv and was just stupid when comparing it to other devices. Would not buy again if it were 2 bucks, returned the next day!

I had high hopes for this having beta tested and earlier roku device. This one was severely lacking. Kept losing connection to the WiFi and to its own remote. Product returned and replaced with an Amazon Firestick (Alexa version) which I love.

The reviews were mixed but I made the purchase anyway. The best part of the review & product info was the help to buy the correct product. The equipment was impossible to set up. I bought two and returned them both.

The Roku Stick I purchased from Best Buy was the first of two I purchased -- both worked once but the second time I used them they froze up. I bought an Amazon Fire Stick that has worked great as a replacement.

This model has repetitive purple screens each time you want to use it. Thankfully best buy replaced this one they sent me with a newer version in store. Roku works but I recommend buying a higher end model

The stick worked fine for about a month. Now it freezes and no apps work . I did the factory reset and it still doesn't work . I have had a Roku 3 for a few years with no issues. I am very unhappy with the stick .

This updated Roku Stick model is leaps and bounds better than the original Roku Stick I picked up last year! While the previous version generally struggled with typical use including starting and jumping between apps, the 2016 model shows absolutely no hints of slowdown. Even when I quickly jumped between apps using the remote's four app presets, the Stick was completely responsive. I'm also happy to report that the Roku Stick can be powered by your TV's USB ports. And if your TV, like mine, shuts off USB power when the screen is turned off, you'll be happy to know that while you have to turn the TV on with its own remote, the Roku Stick boots up cold and is ready to go in less than 15 seconds. Sadly this is faster than my TV can start up its own Netflix app and it's only about a year old... Some other things worth noting: - There's a good chance the Roku turn your TV on when you press the Home button. Go into Settings > Control Other Devices and activate 1-Touch Play. When my Sony Bravia is in standby (the screen is off but the TV is powered on) pressing the Home button on the Roku remote turns on the TV and switches to the Roku Stick's input. YMMV though but I think if your TV has CEC there's a good chance this'll work for you too. - If you have at least a 1080p screen you'll need to manually kick up the Roku's resolution. You can do so in Settings > Display Type - If you're not a fan of the Fandango Movie and TV channels you can disable them in Settings > Home Screen Anyway even if you've been put off of the idea of a Roku Stick due to the previous model's performance issues, I'd highly suggest giving this one a try. You won't regret it!
