I had been having issues streaming videos on my bluray. I went to Best Buy to replace my bluray but a salesperson recommended the "new" stick. Wow! It was so easy to set up. Just plugged in and followed prompts. Again, wow! Streaming is fluid, compact remote and lots of apps are available. I installed the app on my iPhone also and was pleasantly surprised with the private listening feature. Now, when hubby retires to bed early, I don't have to turn the tv off. The price is just under $50. I'm so glad I bought this stick. I still use my bluray DVD player but not for streaming. The streaming and wireless features on bluray DVD player are inferior. You won't be disappointed with the Roku stick.

After about three weeks the remote control started to intermintely quit working. Replaced batteries and still have the same problem and talked to Best Buy and they said it was too late to return it.

We have a smart TV and were talked into this by an associate in the store. We have the best internet Cable One offers and the thing constantly lags. I personally feel it is a complete waste of money

After reading the reviews and talking with a few people, we thought the Roku was a good choice. Wrong! We had issues with the remote and with it staying in sync with our tv. Very disappointed.

I hated it it suck cuz it wanted my card number too get set up wish I thought was very stupid with the newer version so I take it back got my money back and got the amazing Fire stick I love it

After struggling with this for 3 weeks I returned it and got the Roku Premiere Plus which has good response times / much better performance. You will not be happy with the Streaming Stick.

we could never get the roku hooked up were not sure if we needed more equiptment or a better router, but we took it back to store, did not choose to go through all that mess!!!

Most of the shows you need to have a cable provider or you don't get the service. If One has cable service, why would they buy Roku. Will look for another alternative..

I could not use the device. The remote control would only work if I took the lid off and press the batteries down. I ended up taking it back and getting a fire stick.

It literally locks up the entire TV and you have to shut everything down and hope it comes back up. Bought it just to get HULU on my smart 4G TV. DON'T DO IT!!!

Can barely get a tv signal using this item. TV comes on for 5 seconds and then searches for a signal for 3 minutes. Definitely do not recommend this product.

it work not work, remote cover was broken, remote was damaged by abusive use and unit would not connect to internet. Will be returning fro refund.

There is no signal - it is not working. I've tried everything in every menu on my TV to get it going but did not succeed. I may have to ask for a refund.

Ever since we purchased the remote is not working at all ...it will take 4-5 minutes before it connects to the stick and it will disconnect again.

It's not what I expected. I have to pay additional for any additional service that I want to watch (Netflix), it's an additional monthly charge

I did not have a positive experience with the Roku product. It would not activate once installed in my brand new television. I returned it.

Bought it to hopefully get stations on my upstairs TV. Unfortunately I could not get it to work and returned the item to the store.

Quality of picture is poor, does not download entire movie. Always having technical problem and never complete downloading movie.

stopped working-- would cut off regularly. tried several times to get it to work correctly, but alas it did not. very frustrating.

No matter where I put it in my house it would not pick up the signal. And when it did pick it up it would drop the signal.
