Had to return bc the stick wouldnt fit into our tv

Hardware is good but subscription service is crazy

Bought this for my father-in-law for fathers day. It was very easy to setup (although it took a little while to install apps and update the software). The interface was very easy to use, and very quick (we used a Wii at home and now I want to switch to this). For $35 (on sale) you cannot beat it.

I recently downsized and moved into a small manufactured home. No cable or satellite TV for me, just an excellent outdoor digital antenna to pick up all the local TV stations. Next came my first Roku. I'd read all the reviews and decided upon the Roku Streaming Stick. It was so easy to set up and it worked perfectly right out of the box. Due to where I live, all that was available to me was basic speed DSL Internet service. At first I was concerned that it would not be enough for the Roku, but this little stick delivers perfectly streamed programs and movies every time. There are so many free channels to watch I honestly do not know where to start. I just wish I would have gotten one of these a long time ago.

I have a smart tv, however, I really wanted to stream from other channels unavailable on it. That's when I started my research into streaming devices. Many people began to highly recommend Roku devices, and after using it for about a month, I would too. It's fast to turn on, load channels and videos, and easy to sync up with accounts. I had an issue with the remote for the first few weeks, I used the batteries they provided, however once I changed them to to others, it works perfectly. My only issue with it is that during the time the remote was finicky, I used the app, which worked great, but now it's having trouble finding the stick these days. Other than that, it was the perfect device for our home!

I was fed-up to pay too much on a monthly basis to get plenty of tv channel, but watched only few of them while being busy with commercials... As I did not have a connected TV, I started to look for this kind of device, and selected this one as it has a dedicated remote for this super low price. So far, we loved it, the setup was very easy. The only down side is that you have to create a roku account and filled-in your credit card information... but you can easily remove it just after, hopefully ! There are a lot of free channels in the roku TV offer, and you can access for few dollars a month the most popular streaming content providers. I strongly recommend this device !

I have a Roku 3 that I love, and I was skeptical that the Roku Stick would be as good, but it is! I already bought a second one for my office. Fast, tiny, convenient and cheap - I love it!

Great streaming stick. Can convert your TV to a smart TV. I take it with me when I travel and access all my streaming services.

This has probably been the best $30 I've ever spent. I travel from 2 different houses throughout the week and i can easily throw this in my bag and plug it into whatever TV I am using. I can honestly say I have had 0 Problems since purchasing this 2 years ago.

Extremely easy setup, lightning fast due to upgraded quad core processor, point anywhere remote is awesome. Highly recommended, would purchase again anyday!

Roku is solid. Especially the companion app on Android. Especially i like the feature when you do in private listening. So you no longer need a remote that has headphones.

This thing is great - it's my second Roku product (I also have the Roku 2 XD) and I couldn't be happier. Can't beat what it does and how well it works for the price!

The main purpose for me to buy this Roku Streaming Stick was to avoid having to pay Spectrum a monthly fee for a cable box on each TV. The Spectrum app is available to be installed and used on Roku devices. The app works pretty well to watch cable TV. I also enjoy using it for watching YouTube on my TV. I love the small form factor of this Roku Streaming Stick. It looks like and is about the size of a USB thumb drive. I have a 32" flat screen TV mounted to the wall and fortunately it has a USB port that powers the Roku Stick, which is plugged into an HDMI port. This means everything is neatly tucked behind the TV and there are no extra wires or cables to worry about. Also, the Roku stick turns on and off simply by powering the TV on and off. They did include a USB power brick if there are no USB ports available on your TV. In conclusion, the device is really easy to install and use. There are so many free and paid options to enjoy. It is responsive and speedy enough having a quad core processor. It has dual band wireless capability so you can opt for 2.4 or 5 Ghz. I am so happy with my purchase.

This is my first ever streaming device, and although I am familiar with the Roku brand from friends, I have never owned one. One thing I love is the ability to search across multiple channels for media, and just the array of channels is fantastic. Plus, it has screen mirroring compatibility with some Android and Microsoft PCs. The processing speed is rapid, and I love how it connects to your mobile device with the app, which gives you the option of using your headphones. Lastly, I appreciate the shortcut buttons on the controller. I know they've been on previous models, too.

Love the Roku stick! I especially like how easy it is to use & the great selection of channels that we get with a very good quality picture. It has saved us lots of money since we got rid of cable & we don't even miss cable.

I had the 2014 Roku Stick and I use it as my primary source of television and movies. I was growing ever tired of the "speed" so to speak of my Plex server on the roku stick. I had been counting down the days until this came out and finally got ahold of my big box store and BOOM! I got this bad boy set up lightning quick and logged into plex. I did a quick browse through my thousands of movies and every single one loaded the cover art within a second or so! This thing is awesome! I would recommend Anyone to get the Roku stick, and users with old models to upgrade. It's just faster. I haven't tested Youtube yet, which is a common pain in the butt for lag. I will update once I do.

Picked up this item as an option for us to view tv programming in some rooms without cable access and without paying the cable company more $$ for their boxes (no reception in lower level with antenna for over-the-air). This streaming stick was easy to set up, and works great. Definitely was worth the price to give us portability throughout the house.

Bought this for a plasma TV that has no smart features in a makeshift man cave in my detached garage. Since it seemed like quite a hassle to run a wire all the way from the cable box in my house to the garage, I went with a Roku, as my router's wifi connection reaches all the way out there. Pretty powerful device! Tons of apps and it loads them probably just as fast as my new 4k Samsung Smart TV (also has more apps than my Samsung by quite a large margain too). Bought it mainly for the NFL app as I have NFL Network and RedZone on cable and it allows me to stream the both channels but also use it for the Pandora and Watch ESPN apps too. Remote it comes with is basic, but in my opinion has the right amount of buttons. Menu and interface is easier to navigate and better looking than the Amazon Fire Stick. Easily worth the normal retail price of $50 for upgrading a non-smart TV although I got it for $35 dollar on sale!!! Hard to pass on one at that price!

I bought this for my new TV and I love it. - No lag between the menu. (Quad core processor) - Compact and can be powered from TV USB. - Works very smooth even in 15 Mbps connection (Full HD resolution). No buffering at all. - Very easy configuration and neat UI.
