Best streaming device

I have the amazon fire stick tv and i personally think the roku stick is better. It has better apps and the hotkeys for Sling, Netflix and google play is so convient. The only thing that the amazon fire stick tv has over the roku stick is voice control.

Bought it for Traveling

Worked perfectly, kept me and the kids entertained at the end of the day without having to rely on the hotel's cable selection. Instead we were watching Hulu and Netflix. Would recommend for home or travel!

First time Roku
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My friends have been telling me to try Roku for a while instead of using my PC, and I finally gave it a try, but did choose the least expensive one just in case. I only use Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon so I guess any streamer would have worked for me. But this one is working out great, setup was easy, no issues. Just noticed they have a pretty big app store so selection seems pretty good too.

Great Cable TV Replacement

This streaming remote was so easy to connect to my TV and set up, it took maybe 5 minutes. It's just as easy to use as a regular TV remote and has many fancy extra apps all included. I would highly recommend this product!

Con- The program description boxes that pop up are too small. They should be larger to be easier to read. PRO- You can contact Roku for a FREE HDMI CABLE. On some TVs the stick does not fit in space in back of the TV. Roku has a free HDMI offer. I originally searched for and purchased adapter and cable (Right-Angle Male HDMI-to-Female HDMI Adapter) so that I could plug the stick in and get it working right away. Then I found the hdmi offer in the installation directions.

Good performance from device

A tip to anyone though is this device seems to work better on a 5ghz wifi band as I was receiving errors galore on the 2.4ghz band after an update from TWC. Would recommend though.

Best Streaming Device

Ever since í have used roku products í will not use any others. They are the best and keep improving. Especially with the hotel / dorm feature for wifi connections. Makes streaming on the go easy.

I'm in love with it, I've gotten one for my best friend and my mom! They both love them as well. Super easy to set up and use. And the fact that I can download the remote app on my phone!
