Unreliable

It also freezes and audio cuts out prompting me to restart the app. Not sure i can fully recommend it and I find my Fire TV to be more reliable.

Streaming stick is great, remote is garbage

I should have known better when my remote quit working on my last Roku streaming stick (previous model). This model (3600) works very well and is very fast, when you can actually get the remote to operate it. I've had it for 3 months and it was working fine for about 2 of those. Then the remote intermittently stopped working. Now it will not work at all and the streaming stick is useless. Tried fresh batteries, nothing. Tried resetting the device, nothing. Customer service so far has been non-existent. And good luck finding a cheap replacement remote. Every one I have found online works with all Roku player models EXCEPT the streaming stick.

Don't Purchase
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My wife and I decided to drop cable and switch to Playstation Vue. We then decided on the Roku stick. We have had a Roku for 5+ years with no issue. Setup was easy and worked fine for 1 day. The issue we ran into was streaming Netflix. Everything worked fine but for some reason it would say Netflix was not available. Except when I used our Xbox, PS4, and cell phone it all streamed fine. Returned the next day and got the Roku Premier and have had no issues sent. Biggest mistake was not reading the reviews online!

Uses all your data

I would not recommend this unless you have unlimited data on your internet plan.

Disappointed in the long Run

After live chatting with customer support (Roku's customer support) and trying all of their recommendations they told me that my item is out of warranty and there is nothing they can do. I'm so disappointed that they wouldn't stand behind their product. Wish I would have known this before I bought my TV with built in roku.

Waste of money

I've have it about a month and in that time I've had to reset it atleast 15 times. It has problems connecting to wifi, the remote goes out every day so I have to reset that (takes about 15 mins), sometimes the volume stops working so I have to then, reset the roku (takes about 20 mins). Very disappointed in this.
