I use my Roku to watch cable on a “non-smart” tv works great.

I totally love this Roku streaming stick. It is very fast and portable, just hook it up to your tv and you will be ready to start streaming all your favorite shows and movies.

I have to choose between , cromcast, fire tv stick and roku .I finally decided to go with roku . Yes my decision is correct .I am very happy to have this device , i can see a number of channels without cable using the roku . its works flawless and very easy to set up .

I bought 3 so in case you didn't read my other review yet here it is. My att cable bill went up. Was so happy to learn about streaming from the experts at Best Buy. I got an antenna and a Roku. Antenna:I love the tv shows. Clean. No adult movies showing up in line up. There are plenty of free movies. Happy shows not so dark. 5 Christian channels too. I got 46 total. The Roku is awesome. I get YouTube for news Netflix and Amazon for movies and binge watching when working out. My bill went down to $20. So happy with Best Buy roku and my leaf antenna. One of the best things I have ever done. .

Salesperson suggested this Roku model, and he was absolutely right, it is a great product, works really well, easy to use and install and all that for a reasonable price.

This roku works excellent, and hdmi cable is not needed, the roku it's plugged directly to the tv. The remote control works excellent, it's very easy to take with you.

The Roku streaming stick works great and turns your TV into an almost smart tv with lots of options. It is priced low enough so you can equip all your tv's with this device.

Perfect solution to the problem of wanting to disconnect from cable. It's super easy to attach to the TV and having the USB power source is great. The interface is smooth and user friendly. And then you can watch almost anything that you could see online on your TV. It's great. I also love the app I put on my phone that lets me watch my show with earphones through my phone. It's great for watching TV when other people are trying to sleep. I love this product. I highly recommend it. I'm even thinking about buying a second one for another TV so I don't have to keep switching them out between different TVs in the house.

We recently purchased a Roku and were happy with our purchase. It was super simple to set up and works great! One of the Best Buy staff recommended this model to us.

Considering how much smaller this is than the full size Roku box it worked just add will with no noticeable differences in speed or ability to stream... Loved it... But then the remote stopped pairing not long after my return window closed... Tried everything but to no avail

Great device if this is what you need. I had to buy this because the app on my 2015, 70 inch Sharp TV for Youtube no longer work. This is due to Youtube changing their processes and has nothing to do nor is it the fault of sharp. I looked around for the best solution at the most reasonable cost and decide upon this model and brand. Of course as everyone else has found this is a very effective device and it works as indicated. There are a number of apps some of which are for free channels and some of which are for paid. As an HBO subscriber this is actually easier to use than the HBO menu especially when wanting to find old HBO series such as curb your enthusiasm, band of Brothers, Sopranos, etc. My only complaint is that I wish the remote had a few more ways to manipulate it's controls and also that it contained a few more identifying marks for those controls. Unfortunately, like most modern devices there is very little provided in the way of operational instructions and unless you want to go on online or read individual reviews from different websites. However, the bottom line is this device works and does everything it says it will. Also, they offer a small HDMI cable if the Roku is shaped where it will not fit into an HDMI port on your television. This may be a problem to many TV owners as the Roku Dongle is not tiny and some of the HDMI ports on TVs are located in tight quarters. Although I was able to get my dongle into the space provided it was a very tight fit so I did request the free cable that Roku offers. I was surprised to receive the cable within four days of when I requested it so that is very good customer service . Another thing that is not pointed out or very clear in any instruction or even on the site is that the Roku dongle needs an exterior power source. The power available at the HDMI port is not sufficient to control it so you will have wires coming off of the dongle.

good product. We purchased this version because the tv is mounted on the wall and it tucks in nicely behind the tv and is hidden. Works well so far, no issues. Like it a lot.

Really fast, easy to use and set up also Romulo stick has spectrum cable app, which allows to watch my programming almost anywhere, as long as you have access to wifi.

This unit was a gift to my daughter mainly to see Netflix movies an old, but HDMI equipped TV. The setup was easy, the picture quality good, works fine without any problem.

Good product for the money easy to connect/install and use

The Roku Stick is small, reasonably priced, and easy to set up on your TV. It gives you lots of choices for entertainment- Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc. and first run movies.

I have a Google Chromecast (I won it in a White Elephant) a few years ago and I bought an Amazon Firestick when it was on sale. Oh, I also have my Sony PlayStation 3 to stream. Ridiculous, I know. We have multiple tvs and depending on the need I have them attached. The Roku Streaming Stick was the last of the three I purchased and I think it's the best one of them all. It's incredibly easy to use and has all the apps that I want to stream movies and TV shows that I'm trying to binge on. Of course, some apps require their own subscriptions, but if it wasn't for my roommate, I'd scrap my cable company because of it!

Bought to have streaming capability on main (non smart) TV. Works great, just like on the other Roku TV we have. Will be using it in our vacation home this winter. Noticed the stick gets bit warm, hope it doesn't burn itself out.
