This new model is much faster than the prior model. The remote is also really good with soft buttons and you can point the remote anywhere to work properly.

When I purchased the Roku stick I wasn't sure just what I was getting. I installed it with no problem and went right to viewing streaming films and TV programs. There is a lot of free sites one can stream from and they give some free trials. I do not have cable or or any thing other than antenna TV which means I only get the networks. With ROKU I get just what I want, don't have to pay huge charges for stuff I don't want and have the flexibility to be able to cancel providers when I want to. With Roku I can truly say I have control of what I watch and pay for. Great devise!!.

Best value and performance. Quick, portable, great for traveling. Only wish it had the smart remote with headphone jack that comes with the higher models.

Let me start by saying I also have an Apple TV (not the newest version) and an Amazon Fire Stick. I like both of those but I like the Roku more. The big thing for me was I can add a Time Warner app and watch my cable TV from any room in the house without having to have and pay for boxes. The Roku installs easily and powers off the TV better than the Fire Stick did. 100% recommended. I will be picking up a couple more of these when I get around to hanging the other TV's.

I purchased the Roku streaming stick so that we could watch my son's baseball games on ESPN3, and it's allowed us to do that and so much more. We all enjoy the many subscription and free apps available, giving our family entertainment choices not available with our television service provider. I can't specifically compare the Roku stick against other Roku products, but I've been impressed with the HD quality, especially in relation to the poor internet service we have. I would recommend this device to anyone. It's easy to set-up and use. You won't be disappointed.

This thing is so much bettter than my smart tv. I highly recommend especially since you can access apps like playstayion vue that you cant get on a smart tv.

Bought this as an addition to my Vizio TV. It's portable and gives me a bunch of apps I wouldn't normally have, but love to use! Great for the price.

Easy to use which is the most important to me. The remote is great and you can get right to which ever TV streaming content you want. Easy makes me happy.

I had the previous model, and it worked well. The new Roku is much better! It is more responsive, and the picture is better. I highly recommend the new model.

Set up in minutes for first time users. Very easy and intuitive. We have been using it for over a month now with no hiccups. It is fast and seamless.

So this is my first streaming device. After doing research on the reviews on Best Buy's site and others, I settled on this strictly for streaming Sling TV. I also bought a new router to push WiFi signals faster (Netgear Nighthawk AC 1700). This combination is a dream and the Roku handles processing the Sling signals seamlessly and I forget that I no longer have cable. The 30 days of free Sling doesn't hurt either. Highly recommended, though I would point out that you should have a higher quality router to push the WiFi with in order to get best results.

This ROKU stick was exactly what we needed. It mounted behind the tv in the kitchen and allowed us to remove clutter from the kitchen counter. Works flawlessly

Initially, I was wary of whether Roku's new, updated streaming stick would work, since both Best Buy and online reviews were harsh for the earlier version. The earlier stick had a slow processor, and apps were allegedly mind-numbingly slow to load and work. But I wanted a Roku on my bedroom TV and did much research on this one, as it was more economical than purchasing a Roku box. Well, I am VERY thrilled to report that the new stick's speed is lightning fast, courtesy of the warp-speed processor. Apps load blazingly fast and streaming is a flawless breeze. It's a real winner.

Purchased to specifically watch Amazon and Netflix streaming programs. Was very easy to setup and does an excellent job in providing a very steady stream.

I love this streaming stick. One of the nicest features is that it connects to 5g and has great speed with very ease of use. You can't beat the price.
