I don't know why I didn't get this earlier. It is easy to set up and it has added so much to our TV watching. Works without a hitch.

This is our second Roku. We use them for our upstairs televisions. Way cheaper than the monthly fee for additional cable boxes.

Overall I love this device!! I have a Vizio Smart TV, which has built in apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc, but this device is far more handy. First and foremost, download the Roku Remote on your iPhone or Android device and you can search directly on your phone or control the device w/o having to have the physical remote. Plus, you can use the app to stream the sound if you want to watch it on the big screen but have the volume off/down on the TV. Overall a great device with excellent back end user features

Bought this after appletv went out. Works better. Good reliable streaming of sling, Hulu, hbogo, etc. And it costs about 1/3.

This is the best way to consume Netflix, Amazon Video, and video from my NAS. Works very smooth (most of the time - see following) and is easy to use. In the interests of full disclosure I had to return/exchange for a wired model due to a occasional buffering problem. No fault of this particular Roku - I've got a couple of others in the house and they work great; pretty sure the wireless signal just wasn't getting through clean. With the Roku Premiere+ that I got instead any buffering problems disappeared.

I love the roku. I use it as a second cable box to use my xfinity account with out have a monthly rental fee. Also has various other apps that are free which is nice. Also can get Netflix. The only think I didn’t like is I wasn’t able to pause live tv like I can on the xfinity box

This ROKU is fast and awesome! Very easy to setup and navigate. In less than 5 minutes I was browsing ROKU content and adding stations.

Bought this Roku streaming stick for an extra TV. Very easy to set up...no issues at all. Allows you to access your programs very fast.

We don't have cable, and our Roku Stick allows us to stream Netflix, Vudu, SlingTV, and numerous other streaming options on any TV with an HDMI input. There is a slight lag time to load the channels, but that may be in the app or our Internet service, so no loss of star value there. You can set up control through a smart phone, too, which makes it much easier to search for what you want, since it's easier to type it in on your phone than to click through the on-screen keyboard with the ROKU remote.

Thus is the best streaming value. I pretty much got them all too -PCs, tablets, phones, Apple TV, Fire TV, Android box, smart TV, Windows stick, Android stick and an older Roku box. Having all that and only three TVs made me question purchasing this but the sale price was decent ($35) and well worth it since my old Roku crashes these days with some channels. And then SlingTV offered it for $20 with a month of service! So needless to say I went with that option lol. But we'll worth it at any sale price I'd say.

I had a bad cable line running to a new TV I was trying to install. The Roku solved this problem and gives me an amazing number of video options without having to run a cable line to the TV. I now can also take a 20 inch TV outside to use on my pool deck without the need for a cable; just a power line. My only suggestion is to include the HDMI pigtail extension with the unit since the two TV's I use Roku on both have very tight HDMI ports and the extension is required on both. Well worth the price.

Best Streaming device available, that I've used. I have a Chromecast and Fire Stick, but Roku is much faster and more user-friendly.

I upgraded to this Roku Stick from the previous Roku Stick and here's what I've noticed. It is significantly faster, and thus more usable, but it still is not as zippy as I would have hoped. There is noticeable lag or hiccups as you scroll within apps like Netflix and Youtube most times. But that being said, it's much better than before and worth buying if you want a Roku for your TV. The remote on this one is slightly thinner, and occasionally also takes a few clicks before it starts responding, but I use this with a Harmony Smart Control for the most part and have no issues, except for the occasional issue on Harmony's end. Happy I got the upgraded version.

The Roku stock is small, easy to use, and dependable. I can surf the internet, watch movies via the streaming channels and much more.

This is one of 4 Roku streaming players I purchased for my TV's. Each one works beautifully. No buffering and has a great picture.

I love using my Roku. It was easy to setup. This Roku doesn't need line of sight so it can be plugged in back of the television.
