My dad has the roku 4 and I bought the streaming and it works wonderful the best purchase ever was just as good

was convinced into getting device by friends the current version can handle just about any stream service that is offered, photo and music playing from home pc can be slow if your library is huge, other than that the picture is amazing on even low end hdtvs and the sound is easy to hear local cable company had app for device and picture is better than even the converter box hooked straight to the cable line so far no problems with device, if do have one will report

This little device has been so handy! With an easy to use control, simple operation, and flexibility in use across any TV with an HDMI connection, I've recommended the Roku stick to a lot of my friends! When my family travels to a hotel, we typically bring the Roku along. As long as the hotel has an internet connection, we can use the Roku stick to turn on the kids' favorite shows without having to search through the hotel's channels.

Point anywhere remote is great. Works as good as my Roku I bought a couple of years ago and was cheaper.

We purchased this Roku to replace the bulky digital adapter that time Warner supplied. The Roku is fast and has excellent picture quality while using the time Warner TV app. We highly recommend this product.

this is an easy device to setup. I found that it would get hot after a bit which is why I didn't rate it a 5. I unplug the power when I leave the house

I have a very nice Sony 70" smart tv. What do I even need a Roku for? Originally I wanted another app that the tv didnt have to switch from cable to streaming. I cancelled after the trial but I kept the Roku because it literally changed the way I watch tv. The apps on the smart tv were no where near comparable and much slower amd clunkier. I didnt realize how discouraging this was until I had a better option. Very happy customer!

Easy to operate and understand. Cost effective but Roku 4 runs hot... Now, if streeming speeds could catch.

If you're looking to get a Roku but don't want to spend a lot of money then this is for you. I've already owned a Roku 3 and loved it and was looking to get another Roku and when they came out with their new models I didn't want to spend over $100.00, so I decided to go with the stick. I love that you can listen through your cell phone if you download the Roku app plus it has all the features that the higher models have with the exception of 4K viewing.

Works great . Very easy to install and use. I don't mind scrolling to change channels. The picture is great

The TWC salesman recommended that I get a Roku for my under the counter tv instead of another cable box which I had no place for on counter. I had no idea what that was but bought it anyway.. turned out to be perfect. It is size of a USB memory stick and plugs into USB port on tv. It works off of wifi and allows streaming of any channel in your twc subscription via a twc app. Just set it up via on screen instructions. There are no monthly charges to use it.

We got rid of cable just about a year ago. Honestly do not miss it at all. Roku allows us to watch so many fantastic shows. I have one on each TV and travel with one. Cut the cables.

Bought this item to add streaming to my bedroom older 32 inch tv. I have a Samsung smart tv and a blu ray player which both have built in apps to access Netflix, Amazon prime Hulu etc. the Roku loads much faster and streams quicker, the tv and blu ray have a delay when turning the tv and accessing the apps. The remote responds faster and smoother when toggling through app menus than my Samsung tv and blu ray. I like how quickly plug it in on either tv's.

I love the world this opened up to me! Super easy to use with the remote, and what could be easier to install than popping in a flash drive on the TV?!. Once i finally located my TV remote (as opposed to my Charter Cable remote) and could switch Input to HDMI1, everything worked immediately and like a dream. I'm retired and have become a little tech-anxious, but I guess this shows old dogs can learn new tricks. Haven't disengaged from cable TV yet and not sure I will, but fun to enjoy amazon and netflix and some other things on full screen and not just on my iPad.
