I usually put up two tvs during football season and was looking for a streaming device that supported the Spectrum TV app. Roku supports the app. I picked the stick because I didn't want another device to deal with. This one just plugs into the HDMI port which is handy. I'm knocking one star because you have to keep the stick plugged into a power source. I have to keep it plugged into the USB port on the tv so it's more clunky than I was hoping it would be. I don't like having a wire dangling. Kind of stupid if you ask me.

The Roku is an easy to use product that plugs right into my TV's HDMI port and allows me to watch my cable (comcast) without getting an additional cable box. Roku is the only product that I was able to find that that allows you to watch comcast (comcast has a monopoly in my neighborhood). From my research Roku has the only beta app that will work with comcast. The only suggestion I have is for the remote keys to light up.

For those of you debating between the Roku express and the Roku stick... It's worth the extra bucks to get the stick. It's way more portable to take to a buddy's house and the stick doesn't have to be seen! The Roku has the major apps... Netflix, Hulu, Vudu, Amazon Prime... Plus many more! Some of the other sticks don't include all of the major ones! Easy to install and was recognized right away by my Samsung UHD

Setup is really quick and easy, and roku is pretty easy to use. All you need is a good wifi connection and you're good to go. You can also use your phone as a remote and to manage your roku account whenever you've misplaced the actual remote. There could be a few more channels offered (TNT and CMT, just to name a few), but overall purchasing it was a good decision.

I use the stick to stream PlayStation Vue and Netflix,etc. Set up is a breeze and it is fast to load programs and move throughout the menu. You can plug it into an MHL port and power the stick if you have that feature on your TV. One of the nice features of the App is it allows you to plug in your headphones to your device so that you can have the audio through your headphones. Useful if you don't want to disturb other people.

This Roku stick is easy to install, and is portable! Just plug it into an HDMI port on your TV, follow the setup instructions to get onto your home wireless network (you will need your home wireless network password), and you will be up and running. An advantage of the Roku stick over TV's with built-in Roku is that the stick is portable--you can take it travelling with you to the beach, the mountains or the lake!

Easy to use. Great set up. Would consider using it instead if built in function in most tvs.

I am not ready to invest in a new TV but wanted the Smart TV functions of Netflix, Hulu, etc. The Roku Streaming Stick was a good price point and it was easy to set up. The device found my wireless network with no problem and connected quickly. The downside is having to manually enter all the login information for various streaming sites. I would recommend this to anyone looking to add streaming capability to their TV.

Works very well to stream. I use it for sling TV and never has a problem. Great for the price.

I have used Chromecast for years. I thought I liked using my phone as the remote. I recently purchased Amazon Prime and Chromecast doesn't work with Amazon Video. I bought this and now use it for everything I streamed. The remote is very nice, much nicer than using phone. Netflix, Youtube, Amazon loads much faster than on Chromecast. It doesn't take time to buffer. I am going to be replacing all my Chromecasts with this.

If you want something compact, easy to use, and affordable, the Roku stick is for you. There is a noticeably better performance of the CPU and onboard memory of the latest version versus the older stick. It's not a deal breaker, but it is noticeable and especially if your wifi network is sluggish or has many devices on it. The Roku remote is easy to use, but even better that their app is compatible and even easier to use.

The Roku is the best of the current crop of set top boxes. It's easy to install, easy to use, and provides access to dozens of different streaming services. Sure, most of those services (Hulu, Netflix, etc.) have monthly fees -- but they're far cheaper than cable or satellite. The rock-solid performance and simplicity of the Roku makes it the best box for people moving from subscription television to streaming.

By purchasing the Roku I was able to turn in my cable boxes, thus saving the cost of the monthly rental fee. Plus I'm able to get all of the channels I'm paying for, whereas with the "mini boxes" I was missing some channels.

Really enjoying this Roku streaming stick. Easy to use. Very simple hookup. Would recommend.

Picked up a few Rokus recently, four actually! We wanted to cut the cord and had read of other users who used Roku to access their Netflix and Amazon accounts, but also who recommended Sling. It's been a full month now, and even after buying the devices and factoring in my internet access costs I'll still save money! These things are awesome and totally an easy to use alternative to the antics of the cable company.

Great alternative to cable. This model is much faster then the previous version. It's very easy to connect to tv when switching between rooms.
