Giving the stick a try before upgrading to a higher end Roku. So far it's great and does well. Couple small gripes, it freezes once in a great while and you have to do a trick with the remote to unstick it. Program volume escalates horribly during commercials. The latter may not even be it's fault but just the way it is getting away from Big Programming. (I just recently made the switch) At any rate, I'm happy with it and plan on buying their higher end model and using the stick on the spare display. Thanks Roku!

Great for watching Hulu and Netflix. No issues. Also like that it is hidden behind the tv

We have several Rokr Sticks in our home. They function just as advertised and make it possible to cuff out the cable. The one thing I would mention is that you must be very careful of the HDMI end as it is easily bent.

We have several devices that offer streaming services - including tvs, blu-ray players, an (admittedly older) Amazon TV stick, and this Roku. Of all of these, the Roku is easily the most responsive, and tends to provide better overall picture quality as well. With the latest updates, the Amazon TV stick has upped its game - but given a choice to purchase Just One of these, the Roku would win our $$.

Very easy to install connect and ready to watch. Good quality for streaming.

This is a good device. It does have almost all the local channels and some good movie channels that are free. The one thing is all the newer movies I would like to watch are on pay channel services with a monthly fee.

Easy to hookup. A lot cheaper than buying a new smart tv. Netflix streams right to it

Ive owned 3 other devices, this was the easiest to set up and use, some others were painful to use. pro's; easy to use cons; wish it had a steaming feature

I'm very much into technology and I'm very much into streaming items this is probably my first choice second would be the Apple TV fire stick is a distant third but only if they come modded ( if you don't know what that means I'm sorry ) lol but fire sticks are really not very easy to use So.. bottom line . if you want something that's easy and quick and painless the Roku stick is the way to go !

Easy to use, efficient, cheap and fast! I wish I would have gotten one a long time ago.

We wanted to be able to watch Netflix and Amazon Prime movies but didn't have a smart TV in our living room. My techy brother recommended a Roku Stick. It just plugs in and is super easy to set up, even for us Seniors. I love using it. In fact, I like it so much I returned the smart TV I'd gotten for the bedroom and bought a standard TV and a second Roku Stick. It is especially good for wall mounted TVs.

I had tried Amazon's fire stick before, but this is also an excellent streaming device. So far enjoying it! Very intuitive interface even for the novice user.

I brought this for my mom for a mother's day gift. My mom isnt the most technology savvy person in the world, but she can use her Roku with ease. I installed her Roku and set up her account after that she was off to the races. One of the best gifts I have ever brought for her

I purchased this item on Black Friday as it was on sale and at a reasonable price. My dad also has one, which made me decide to buy one. What I like about Roku is that I can virtually watch anything from Sling TV to Netflix and everything in between without any cable fees!!! It's steaming devices like Roku that's going to put Cable, Satellite and FiOS out of business!!! You won't be disappointed!!!

I have 2 of these. They work great. The remote is simple to use and hook up was a breeze.

The set up was easy and love the options. the remote is very basic and easy to operate.

I read many reviews before I purchased the streaming stick. First, I was thinking to buy the Roky 2, but when I realized the new 2016 stick had the same processing power that the others, i didn't doubt to give it a try. Since you don't need to plug in to the outlet, it's really convenient to avoid a wire-mess in your TV stand. This is the best for your money and the best for processing power to see any TV program.

This is my second Roku streaming stick and love it. I have one for my main living room TV and bought this one recently for a new TV for my bedroom. I love that it's portable; can take with me on vacation and plug into any TV w/ a USB and have instant access to all my streaming programs. I also LOVE using the headphone jack with my remote app so I can watch TV without bothering anyone else with the sound.
