Purchased this cause I can't add apps to my Smart Bluray player and don't need a new TV yet. So buying a Smart TV right now is a waste of time and money. This seemed to be a logical equipment to buy. Easy setup and doesn't lose WIFI connection like my bluray player does at times. Overall, It's a good product to have if you don't have a Smart TV and can't add apps to your Smart blurat player.

Works great. It's amazingly fast for something so small. Easy to use and operate.

I upgraded from an older roku model and I really like it, I like the search option for when you're looking for a certain movie it tells you where to find it even if it's on any of the premium movie channels that you have thru your cable provider, it's faster and it just look user friendly and the family finds it really easy to use, I'm definitely getting another one for my entertainment room....

Don't get deceived by its small size. This updated Roku Stick is more powerful than its previous roku stick version and has on par performance with Roku 3 player. Fits nicely behind the TV and I connected to one of the USB ports on my TV. This also has standalone power cable if you need it. If you have used Roku before then this stick has all the features you need. Supports 1080P content.

This Roku streaming stick is easy to set up and better than my old Roku.

This works best for us as we can get closed caption on the programs and so many more areas to choose for streaming!

Roku is easy to set up and use on your tv and finds and loads content quickly.

This device fairly priced and easy to use. No computer skills and it was still easy. Free games were included with mine.

Recently switched from Fios to Comcast and with the App I’m able to get all live TV streamed to a TV on my deck. Fast and uninterrupted programming.

I got this item to access Sling TV as I became a cord-cutter. Does what it's supposed to do and as such, it resulted in cutting my monthly cable bill to more than half - from $209 to $95-ish (200 Mbps internet for $70++ and my Sling Blue subscription of $25). Plenty of apps and user-friendly interface. I was so sold on this that I actually got 5 Roku devices for the entire house.

This thing is amazing, I bought it because some ISP(s) are more than difficult to get the streaming ability unless you purchase cable, that is ridiculous. What is awesome is this ROKU, the thing has minimal lag, solid picture quality and sound and was a snap to setup. Easily 5/5 rating. Probably will get another one for other TVs in the house. I've already recommended this to others.

Works great on a not so smart LED tv. Really enjoying Net Flix etc.

I love the Roku because I don't have to pay for another cable box! I hooked up my Roku to any TV I want and I can access the cable channels from downstairs. I can even travel with my Roku and hook up to any smart TV. I love it. I actually commute from coast to coast but only pay for cable for one place...This is perfect! I did not give it a 5 star only because it is not controlled by one remote. You do have to turn the TV on and then access the Roku but it is very simple still.

I love the Roku and so does EVERYONE in my home.I know exactly what I'm giving out for Christmas!! I've told alot of Friends and Family about Roku!

I had the original Roku that has the infrared remote. You have to point the remote right at the Roku unit to get the channels to change. With the streaming stick it is a radio signal so you can point the remote any direction and the Roku receives the signal with ease. The streaming stick works great and it has a much better menu than my old Roku, which by the way still works perfect!

I went for a little higher price roku stick and I'm glad l did. The sales person at best buy was very helpful and he did NOT try to sell me the most expensive equipment. I chose to do that on my own. I didn't want the most expensive equipment and l didn't want the least expensive equipment either , so l went with the middle of the line equipment and I'm extremely satisfied. Jimbo

Fogive my heading, the seeming lack of enthusiasm, however this is my 3rd stick....It's fast (faster than my first ROKU 2) & just as quick as my ROKU 3. My only disappointment however, is the lack of MicroSD card slot, but that's just me being being picky..I ordered the HDMI extension because the ROKU supplied extension is a bit too short. The end result is, im pleased with my puchase. You may not want to hear this, but it sort of renders the "Smart TV" redundant...And much less expensive..
