Roku tends to make the best streaming sticks. It offers many good apps and is quicker than the previous version of the roku stick (purple). The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that you have to plug the roku stick into an hdmi port, then a usb port for power. The alternative is to put the roku stick into an hdmi port, then run a power wire from the roku stick and down the wall to a power outlet, which ruins the idea of a roku stick to me. I don't want to see wires.

We got this Roku stick....it works great...picked up my wifi signals from the back of the house....navigation is simple and easy to use....just took a while to figure out that you need to go to "Input" button on our remote to go to the HMDI selection to get the Roku to work.....seems like it wasn't on any instructions anywhere or we missed it...but we figured it out.

Works better than the competition by far. Very user friendly and fast.

wanted to make a few of our TVs smart and opted for the Roku stick. Found it very easy to install. What I liked about this stick is that it is portable. We have a seasonal home in Florida without a smart tv so it will be easy to transport the stick back and forth. Im hoping within a few months the hubby will see we dont need these expensive cable bills.

Everything seems to work great. The only downside I have noticed is that if I unplug from one tv and move it, I have to go through setup all over again. Besides that it has been stable.

This streaming stick works great and is convenient to take on trips or just to use at a friend or family member's house. Remote feels good in your hand and buttons are rubbery so you can handle it easier than other remotes that are all plastic. If the drive is too bulky for your hdmi connection you can have Roku send you an extension cable for free.

We have used a Roku streaming stick for several years - since the first HD box was available. Recently, with the change in Time Warner Cable to Spectrum, we found the older box to be very slow and occasionally would stop working. With a quick setup and update to our Roku account, we are happily again watching all our favorite apps at much faster speeds!

I have this rocku stick in every tv in my house. I like the stick better because you can take it along with you wherever you go. I take my granddaughter to my sisters house and all I have to do is unplug from the back. It is very fast no lagging at all. I bought one for my daughter in school in Houston. She loves it too !!!!!!!!!! Thank you bestbuy.

We have been very happy with this device. The remote is simple, almost impossible to mess up and there is a much wider selection of choices than I expected. Along with Netflix and Amazon Prime, we have been accessing PBS shows and occasionally watch a newscast (We have no broadcast TV). We liked ours so much, we bought another one for our son and his family.

I don't like that you have to create a Roku account and use a credit card. It is otherwise a very user friendly device. I previously had a chromecast which better fit my needs, but did not connect at hotels. This connects at hotels, but does not screen mirror (if that is an issue) and requires entering login information on the on screen keyboard (instead of my phone like the chromecast). The manual says there is an app for setup but it did not work for me.

Have bought several of these Roku streaming sticks. They do what they say they will do--stream internet video content from providers like Netflix and Amazon. Plug and play. I like the stick for portability (you can take it on vacation), rather than the built-in Roku smart function on some TV sets; I can't take it with me.

I don't watch much t.v. so cable plans are a waste of money. Roku let's me watch lots of t.v. programs and movies be and I can access my favorite network station for only 5.95 a month.

The Roku stick works beautifully. We have used it to watch many movies and we are impressed with the quality it delivers. There are many apps to choose from (probably too many) and they cover a plethora of genres, from animation to sports to news to drama to reality. The setup process was easy too. We believe any using the Roku stick will find it enjoyable.

This device was easy to hookup to wifi and has a boosted signal tha6 made a need for an access point non existent. The interface is fast and gave a good overall streaming experience.
