I bought a non smart TV to save money and the Roku was a perfect replacement. It plugs right into the back of my TV and it's portable. I can watch shows in my bedroom at night and take it into the living room and plug it into that TV and continue watching where I left off. Perfect item for those that can't afford a Smart TV

Easy and better than paying for additional boxes

Small remote with fairly easy controls. Allows me to access my Cable through the TWC app, as well as my Netflix and Amazon Prime account. Best part? Not paying for additional cable boxes! Plus the energy it'll save from not having a cable box plugged in 24/7. I'd say the next best part is not having to run any cables. The unit disappears behind my TV and runs with no issues.

Bought 4 for tv's at a beach house and although it's a little cumbersome to sign into several of the channels on each one I must say they work great thus far. One of the 4 was a little buggy out of the box but a hard reset seems to have fixed the issues. The other 3 have worked seamlessly thus far.

Roku Steaming Stick 2016 Model

He plugged it into the back of his TV, set up an account and was viewing shows immediately. He loves the Roku's ease of use and fast streaming of programs. Thinking of purchasing a Roku for myself now!

Does what it says and more

This does what it says, and since it is near my wireless router, it does it in crystal clarity. But, what I did not expect it to do was my taxes, teach me Mandarin and how to be a better lover. Thank you Roku.

My husband can find all of his sports channels and specially the Europe ones for soccer. There's a lot of French Chanel's in the international sections, and if you are someone who would be interested by other languages you would find it in the international section. Great product for the price!

Cut the cable, get a Roku!

There are so many more shows, movies, docs, etc. to watch on internet streaming channels and we aren't paying for a ton of channels we don't watch and never-ending reruns of the kardashians. This $40 stick turns your regular tv into a smart tv instantly. Totally worth it.

ROKU Stick

It almost sets itself up, logs into the network here at home, and has a large number of freebie movies and such in addition to all the major pay channels. Always seems to be something new coming up I haven't seen yet. I love it for my purposes. I can put it in my pocket and take it with me anywhere I go.

Best Alternative for ROKU Box

Have had it a month and I like it more than ROKU box I have. Find the remote most useful since it has Netflix and Amazon Video buttons which take you directly to stations.
