Small, fast, and easy to use. I upgraded to the Roku Stick from an OLD OLD OLD first generation Roku, and the difference is stunning. Small, fast, slick, and no hassles. Plugs right into the hdmi port, and is powered by one of the usb ports on the tv. Great little set up. I love it!

Roku is very easy to navigate. Only complaint is both the remote and app change my tv input the first time you hit a button and that is probably a tv issue. Otherwise solid streaming device. Setup and ease of use are superb. Price point is exceptional for the quality in return.

The Roku platform is superior to all other streaming platforms in my opinion. It offers apps (or channels) from all the major networks, services, and companies, plus a whole lot more that you never even knew existed! This streaming stick is powerful for such a small form factor and menu navigation is snappy. I love that it's powered via USB so you don't even need a power outlet if your TV has a USB port on it.

I travel a lot for work and often find hotel TV lacking. I already have a couple of Rokus I use around the house and enjoy, but they don't work in hotels because they require internet access from the start (no login / sign-in or agreement page first). Hotel networks make you login and/or click on some sort of usage agreement before granting access to the internet which prevents my older Rokus from getting online. This Roku has a setup feature that lets you use your smartphone / tablet to get past this initial hurtle and get logged on. On top of being able to login into hotel networks it's small and light which helps it travel well (I brought it home with my laptop and other carry-on items. It's also performs very well. I had no problems with device performance or picture quality, but don't expect better picture quality than it advertises. I'm very happy with this little guy and it will travel with me every time I hit the road from here on out!

This awesome little streaming stick does everything the Roku 3 does for half the price. Don't waste your time with Amazon, Apple TV or any other streaming devices. This one is faster, has a great app and a radio signal remote alll for $50. That my friends is a steal of a streaming deal.

Very easy to put together... speed was great. Hardly any buffering. Highly recommend it.

In today's world, there are a ton of streaming options. Apple TV, Amazon Fire, Chromecast, etc, are all out there. Most TVs have built in options too. So why spend the money on a Roku stick? Because it's the most open platform around. Roku has no skin in the game when it comes to content. They give you a machine that will stream pretty much anything and they don't care where it comes from. And most providers will put their apps on so you can access their content (except for Apple, because that's how they roll). So whatever you want to stream, it's probably a good bet Roku has an app for it. This stick is the best streaming solution for the cost. It has great performance, sets up easy, and you can use the Roku app on your phone to stream the sound through it so you can listen to your videos privately. It's not 4k and it's not fancy. But for the sheer ease of use, it's probably the best out there.

i was very hesitant about cutting the cord for first time . it was different than having cable but so much better i have 6 tvs which in the cable just world you would pay a rental fee on each mth for their set top box which is 60 $ right off top every month with roku you buy for 35 and never pay another fee for renting cable equipment it pays for itself great great product

If you don't have a wi fi enabled TV, the ROKU is a great choice for you. It has built in Wi FI and plugs directly into your HDMI port. Just be sure to have an open USB so you can plug in the power. If you don't have a USB no worries it has a power cable included. Stream all the major networks. HBO GO and NOW, Netflix, Showtime, FOX NOW. Great content. I highly recommend it

While using Roku before we hadn't had a Roku stick. What a great, easy to use device! The price was great and love the option of the Roku remote through an iphone with sound available through said phone if not wanting to disturb the room. Great product.

This is the third Roku stick I've purchased, two of which are on smart TVs. The first streaming stick went on an older flat screen to give me Netflix and other channels. It is fast and always working perfectly. So when I bought a new LG UHD I kept the Roku on it because it is easy and fast and I like it better than the LG smart features. I bought the second for my girlfriend's Sony 1080 that didn't have internet access. And this third? Went on a brand new Samsung 40" UHD whose available apps didn't support the Time Warner Spectrum live TV app. I set up the new Roku exclusively for the Spectrum app to avoid another cable box. Works perfectly and integrates great with the Samsung. So while we use the Samsung Smart Center for the pay apps, the Roku brings live streaming TV into the bedroom. Drop the second box and the Roku pays for itself in just a few months.

walked in trying to buy something and walked out with this. I was not expecting it to be as good as it is. Set up is pretty simple and fast, under 5 minutes. Comes with both connectors for wall socket or USB ports, I'm using the wall socket as it's running on an older TV without a USB port. Been using it for a day and a half, no connectivity problems (ASUS dual band router), turned off multiple times and unplugged it completely even. It is 5x faster than my few month old top of the line Samsung 3D Blu Ray player with selecting apps and loading them. The remote app is great, zero lag, zero missed button presses. The voice search is on point, my one complaint is you have to back out of the remote screen to the home screen then back into the menu and enter the search. It is a small thing, but I feel they could have had a button on the remote screen for it. Search results are great, fast, and enter into selected apps instantly or less than 3 seconds. They did a great job improving the stick. Extremely happy with it and recommend this to anyone. The portability makes this awesome because I can just take it to the bedroom or living room tvs..

I wanted to add "smart" capability to a guest bedroom TV we have that does not have streaming abilities. I decided on the Roku stick due to the price - it was on sale and I had a reward certificate. Installing the stick and getting it configured was easy. Signing in to all the various provider apps/channels is simple but a bit time consuming (ABC, NBC, etc) I hope they add single sign on ability in the future to speed up the process. If you need/want 4K or the ability to use Kodi, then you'll need to spend more. If you have a smartphone/tablet and want to spend less and don't need a remote and not as many features get a chromecast. Note: if you need a HDMI extension dongle so that the Roku stick doesn't block you from wall mounting the TV, the included manual gives you a website link to order a free one - just provide the serial number of you Roku.

I purchased the Roku stick to save on renting 5 Xfinity boxes. The setup is easy. It does take a little getting use to the basic remote but you can download a better remote to use via your phone. I also had to get use to going back to the home screen before I turn off the TV so it doesn't continue to stream while TV is off. I wish I had done bought it years ago.

I like how it's small and convenient. It can switch between rooms easily and has everything right on it to stream. There are so many options for what you can get to stream on it. I used my friend's and decided I needed one, and it's a decent price.

The Roku stick is super easy to set up, and has all the streaming apps you could want. Everything is there up front on the home screen, and different channels are easy to add. It also has Spotify to stream music. Very fast operation and HD streams.
