I was a little skeptical at first because didn't know what to expect from a streaming device. Only one word can express it, Outstanding! It's fast! Clear! All the apps you coukd want! And the app makes it that much more awesome with optional personal listeing with your headphones. Again, outstanding!

Like most people, I had been looking to make the change to being "cordless" and researched the best options so I could quit paying for cable TV service. While my decision ultimately came down to either the Roku or Amazon Stick, I went with Roku due to the ease of use, and have not been disappointed.

The Roku is a great affordable option for anyone looking to use online television services. The apps are easy to find and download, the remote is easy to use and the online screen is user friendly. We have been so happy with our first one that we purchased a second one for an additional television set.

Bought this to use for nfl Sunday ticket. Speed of setup is phenomenal and easy. Image quality is great.

I purchased (4) Roku Streaming Sticks for tv setup after switching my cable to Time Warner from Directv. The setup was very quick and easy. The sticks worked just as suggested they would. I used only (3) instead, due to the cable box/dvr supplied. I'll give the last streaming stick as a xmas gift to someone.

I have had a Roku device for a number of years. Although my old device took a while to load, it still worked fine. I moved it to another TV for the grandchildren and installed the new one on the family TV. It is extremely fast and loads immediately. This is a great product at a very reasonable price.

Love the Roku stick. Interface is easy to use and has all of the necessary apps needed to stream from all of my favorite sites. It's great to be able to turn any TV to a smart TV and I love being able to take it anywhere with me. I got one for my parent's as well and they were able to use it easily.

Happy to have, as I own both big butt tv and flat screen TV's, needed ROKU for older model TV and the one ordered gave me both options for use. Happy to have bought it as the older model may one day go out then I can use ROKU stick on flat screen as it came with an HDMI cord for such a transition

I was in dillemma to use apple or Roku as i want to use it for projector which was installed in roof. As Apple need additional power cable, i decided to go with Roku. Every one in family are happy with my decision. Good Product for Projector. Suggested to my friends they also purchased the same.

It was a bit difficult to get it to connect to our internet router in the beginning, but we finally got it to connect. We really love the Roku app for iPhone that enables us to use the phone to control the Roku. Also, having the option for the volume to play through the phone/headphones is really great!

Was hesitant to try a streaming stick as I am not very technologically savvy but read the reviews of the various brands on the market, compared the pros and cons, checked the sales prices, bit the bullet and bought the Roku 2016. So far, I am extremely happy with my purchase and find it very easy to use.

My in-laws' TV lacks internet connectivity, so I purchased this in order for them to watch Netflix. Super easy installation with the USB power option right into the TV! Quick setup. Responses to inputs are fast, much faster than my older Roku. Smooth 1080p streaming, even with their inexpensive wireless router.

Want to cut the cable, this is the way to go if you have good Wi-Fi internet. I have a Samsung "smart" tv that is hardwired into the router. The Roku performs better on my old Insignia through Wi-Fi. Good channel selection and shortcut buttons are on the remote. Have another one in the way already.

It does the job. Streams, plays games, etc. If you can't get your hands on the amazon fire tv stick, this is also a lovely option.....also, an option that allows you to watch google play purchased movies on either YouTube, or the the google play movies app (which the fire tv stick lacks both in option and app)

Ditched cable a long time ago to stream. This makes it extremely easy to access all your favorite channels in one place, plus there are tons of free channels you can add. Easy set up, just plug it in and start adding your channels. Best purchase I have made for watching TV/Movies in a long time!

My first experience with ROKU and it's a welcome addition to my entertainment options. I'm finding content I thought was lost forever. As an elderly guy the mix of new and old has me spending more time on Roku than regular cable. Very satisfied with this product that works so well. Highly recommended.

I have a house full of chromecasts and wanted to try something different. I watch some shows on Amazon and this makes it much easier than chromecast. The remote is a nice touch, and adds extra convenience. Also tried it out in the porch and the wifi signal was still strong. Great product, love it.

I purchased three of these Roku Streaming Sticks (2016 Model), one for each TV in the house. The Bedroom TV works very well and the Kitchen TV also works very well with the stick. Menu items pop up quickly and the image is very clean. There's no lag or delay in switching things. There is a slight delay when selecting a channel as the buffer has to fill, but it's only a few seconds most of the time. In addition I'm on Sling TV to get the cable channels I like to watch. There are a number of Free Channels that you can select and some are very good, but I believe most people will want to add one or more pay services like Hulu, Netflix, or Sling TV. A few words of warning: (1)You need a fast Internet WiFi Signal 4Mbps or higher to stream TV signals. You can use "Speedtest" (Google it) to test your internet speed. (2) Also, your WiFi signal must be a strong signal. The TV in the Living Room does not receive a strong WiFi signal and has problems. To fix that I'm adding a 15 foot HDMI Extension Cable to move the Roku closer to the WiFi and get a better signal.
