The Roku stick was incredibly easy to set up and has made it possible for me to totally cut the cable. I used to have terrible problems with buffering using Pay-Per-View on Comcast, but now I can watch any movie available through the various subscription services with absolutely no problems.

Works great! Great way to get all your cable stations without the monthly fee for an additional box.

Bought this for my great aunt vernice who, in her 90s, can't keep up with smart toaster this and cloud hard drive that. Anyway, she was able to install and use this on her own! She loves watching nature shows. Would've given it 5 stars but my sweet nephew Jonathan sliced his delicate index finger skin handing the instructions to vernice. Why do they make the edges of paper so sharp?

Bought a basic Roku for my parents who are in their late 70's because they were looking for options after Dish TV announced another price increase. They were interested in exploring other ways to watch TV; especially FREE TV. So I researched what was available looking for the simplest things that was cheap. My selection criteria was that it had to include a remote with a big fat "Netflix" button and just a few other buttons. After several hours of intense and stressful training, I left them with simple step-by-step instructions written down. I expected many calls for help, but to my surprise, I received only one SOS call which was easily resolved. I bought them a Netflix subscription and now they are happy as a clam. They even figured out how to pause a movie so they could run to the rest room. So I guess Roku did a decent job designing the remote because this could have been "Mission Impossible"; but thankfully it wasn't (at least not yet, but it's only been a month.) So far.. so good. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I recently purchased a Roku Streaming Stick and am more than happy with it. It too less than 5 minutes to be up and running. Reception is great and movies and tv shows stream seamlessly. I would highly recommend this prodkuct and will also be purchasing another one for a different tv.

Able to continue streaming on youtube with this. However, I do not use it for anything else, so I am unsure how any other app works with the roku.

I had two older Roku devices and had bought the Amazon Fire Stick on the recommendation of a friend. I hated it. It was more difficult to navigate and I couldn't get all the apps on it that I had on the Roku. I returned the Fire Stick for this and couldn't be happier! Fast streaming and no buffering!

I have internet, but no cable. This gives me access to a wide variety of current movies, TV shows, as well as oldies. Between Roku and Amazon prime, there's more TV than I have time for. It also lets me watch all those YouTubes on the big screen. I'd buy it even if I had cable.

My son bought me a Roku stick for Christmas. I love all the options for television watching. I can catch-up on my favorite programs and watch new shows. I'm 63 years old and still learning about everything I have available. I am planning to cancel my cable subscription. I highly recommend the Roku

I purchased two Roku Sticks to replace my Spectrum cable boxes with the Roku Sticks. They worked very well picking up the TV signals from the remaining cable box. They also allowed me to stream many other programs such as Netflix, Pandora, ESPN, etc. So far they are working fine. I'm pleased!

Used to connect to my Comcast xfinity cable. Had to plug power into socket to get it to run smooth.

I have a Roku 1, a Roku 3, and an Apple TV on various tv's in my house. In the summer, we put yet another tv in our garage (in summer, we have rug and table and chairs in there). Didn't want to run cable there, so got the streaming stick. It streams our cable stations, Netflix, etc. Perfect!

Bought this as a gift for someone but they are highly enjoying it. I followed up and they love it over a year later. They bought the Express ones too for the other TVs in their house now too. Highly recommend. Though the new model is out now and probably worth getting that instead.

I use this with no problems on 2 tv's in my home. Works smooth with minimal buffering if any, with most applications. I'm happy with my purchase.

I have now added a roku stick to all my smart TVs and a "dumb" one.Many channel on cable and satellite have a roku channel, some even live stream. Why pay for extra equipment? This roku gives me almost complete access on all my TVs. There are many other free channels available as well as pay ones.

This was beyond easy to set up and has amazingly smooth operation. I look forward to trying it on the road with its mobile feature. It has yet to disappoint… And there's so much to stream that is free, we haven't even purchased any other channels or movies! I would highly recommend this.

The device is simple and staightforward. I did call the Roku help line and they were able to answer my questions and help me complete my set up.

I use this for VUDU and Amazon Prime. It is faster than any of the Blu-ray players I have. I use it with my Epson Powerlite projector V11H772020 by plugging both in my old Yamaha receiver (which does the 5 speaker thing.) I'm 62 and sometimes have to be inventive to use new technology with old.

I wasn't sure how the streaming stick would compare to the other Roku's (I have 2), but I actually like the streaming stick better than what I have. Seems to have a more updated dashboard and the quality of the picture is better. I am surprised because my other 2 roku's were only bought less than 3 years ago and the picture quality for the streaming stick is a noticeable difference.
