The device is simple and staightforward. I did call the Roku help line and they were able to answer my questions and help me complete my set up.

A very simple device to install and understand, with a whole lot of flexibility. Better than the more expensive later models I've seen, although the click/spell interface is a trifle clumsy. You can also feed youtube streaming into it from a phone or tablet with a bit of jiggling, which is nice.

I finally dropped my cable and purchased a Roku for each room. Boy am I glad. I can watch what I want. I watch either comedy movies or dateline, 20/20 ect. . I cannot wait for my grandchildren to explore the possibilities. I love it. Very easy to use. No more channel surfing with nothing to watch.

I like the fact that I can get my local channels through the Charter/Spectrum app. I am a little disappointed with the picture quality though. It's not as sharp as cable itself but it's ok. This could be because I'm streaming over wireless and if I had bought one of the Roku boxes that can be hardwired the picture might be better. But for the money it sure beats cable prices.

I resisted buying this for a while because all my tv's are smart tvs. But there was a couple of channels i wanted that wasn't offered on my tv so I decided to finally buy one. Wow, the speed itself was worth the money. Moving from different programs was great. I highly recommend this product.

There are a lot of choices out there for streaming your favorite shows. I read many reviews over the last month and decided on the Roku streaming stick. I have a smart TV but the stick has many more apps and choices to choose from and they are much better and faster at loading than my TV.

I initially purchased this product based on advice from my cable company to help reduce my cable bill; My daughters love it. They are twins and watch Disney/Nick Jr. I can stream TWC through ROKU which allows them to watch TV in their room and I can enjoy shows in the living room at a cheaper cost.

I recently cancelled my satellite tv service and picked up a Roku and SlingTV and put $100 back in my pocket every month. The streaming stick plugs in and works with practically no setup. Bought one for my mother who isn't tech savvy at all and she had it up and running in just a few minutes.

Beings it was the first time trying anything like this, I was afraid i wouldn't be able to figure it out. I was thrilled to find i had NO problem working it and could enjoy my Roku right away. I now have so many options as to what i can watch. Im not afraid to cut the cord now thanks to Roku.

We had been debating dropping cable TV for a while. They advised me they were going to raise rates again and that was the last straw. I switched to streaming TV with a Roku streaming stick and so far it has been great and we are saving quite a bit of money. I can recommend this product.

I was not aware I could get the same TV channels as the cable/sat providers over internet, cool!

I was trying to decide between this product and the fire stick. After a lot of research decided on the Roku stick because it has more apps. I couldn’t be happier with this decision. Roku gives you access to the Amazon app and has more app choices in my opinion than Amazon.

I wish I had not waited so long to get a Roku stick. It is fantastic! Very easy to setup and use, and it offers lots of options. It's also highly portable which is great. We plan on bringing it with us when we vacation so that we have some movie and tv options without having to bring DVDs.

This is my first streaming device. I choice the Roku streaming stick based on the good reviews and price. It didn't hurt that it was on sale for $10 off either. It is very easy to use and works great. I do wish it had an off button, but that is a small issue. I am very happy with my purchase.

Easy to set up and use -- large # of apps to utilize for Netflix, HULU and many stations.. It was used on my daughters TV and allows her to use our DirectTV login info to watch shows on the various "apps" without having to pay a monthly fee if we actually had a DtV receiver in her room.

Just make sure you buy insurance. My last one stopped working within a year so this time I got insurance which was only 9 dollars for 2 years

Great buy.. Was able to replace Time Warner cable box top and stream app through the Roku. This is a $12 per month, per box savings. I would recommend finding the old version (purple) refurbished if possible for about $20. This minimizes your investment and you will yield the same great result.
