I was not sure if this product was everything people told me about. So I decided to give it a try. I have to admit that the results are more than it was expected. It makes watching and streaming movies much easier. I'm pleased with the performance of this roku.

This is a simple, great device ... connecting to the HDMI port on your TV (with an additional USB connection for power). Completely hidden behind the display, but offering a full, deep array of streaming options with a simple elegant interface and remote. Terrific.

Using the "Stick" on a TV at the far end of my house and the video is excellent.

I didn't keep it because I liked the Fire stick better. It does more and was cheaper.

Roku is the superior streaming platform on the market for one simple fact: it's agnostic. While other streaming devices may have more features, better specs and more marketing, they all serve their manufacturers catalog first and treat all other services as second class citizens. With Roku, all services are equal and I decide what I want to watch on my preferred service, not the devices. I have a few Roku's and I like the Stick the best. A great form factor that allows for a very clean install. Since I no longer have cable, I was able to mount my TV on the wall without running any wires but power. It makes it very simple and clean. The only wish I would have is that Roku would include or sell a remote that had the ability to learn the power and volume controls for a TV. This would allow for a single remote solution. Not a deal breaker though since no other provider has this either.

This is so much faster than the original Roku stick. If you are still using the original you will be very pleased if you upgrade. I use this on a smart tv because it has many more apps and functions better than the apps installed on the so called smart tv.

I have decided to use and keep the Roku streaming stick after reading the reviews and comparing it with the Amazon fire stick. It much simpler and less demanding. I bought the Amazon fire stick first and did not work for me as I don't have or need an Amazon streaming account.

Dropped my Satilitte service and bought this Roku. Signed up for a few cheap streaming services and couldn't be happier. Bought this cheaper Roku to start out thinking I'd buy a more expensive one but there's no need to. This one works great for me!

Fairly easy to set up and to use. I liked having the remote.

I had been an only Chromecast fan and one of the reasons I purchased this device was Chromecast doesn't pass Dolby surround through. Surprisingly I loved this Roku device so kick that I purchased another Roku streaming stick + later for my projector.

My Roku is saving me a lot of money and the selection of tv shows is very good.

Didn't work on all tvs. Was easy to setup. Price was good.

Works excellent and very easy set up .. Was basically free when I singed up for slingTV as they gave me a 50 dollar credit to use at BestBuy. Cut the cord or down the satellite & stream everything with this Netflix and Hulu no more 80-100 cable/satellite bill for me

I have Apple TV, amazon fire stick, google chrome cast, and this roku. I think the roku is the best! Apple TV is limiting unless you are all in on Apple products. Chromecast is not good. Firestick is decent but Roku is the best and easiest to use.

Roku was surprisingly easy to set up, and within a few minutes I was watching "High Castle Man" on Amazon. I'm concerned that signing up for multiple streaming sites will cost too much, but I'll probably go for Netflix and one of the services that streams British mysteries. Only mystery so far - why can't I get HD picture through Roku?

My Roku has been amazing. My family wanted to get away from regular tv providers and decided to use Roku. We love it. It's really easy to use and has the option of which apps you want to add, to help with your tv viewing. This is a great product.

There is no better streamer than Roku...love the "talk to the remote" feature!

No complaints at all with our Roku devices. This purchase marks our 4th Roku device. We currently use the Roku 3, Roku 4, Roku Ultra and now the Roku Stick. Would highly recommend for any family, especially with young children using Disney Movies Anywhere App!
