Picked this up when I was staying in an Airbnb with a 10+ year old “smart” tv that barely worked at all anymore. Almost no apps were available and the few that were were painfully slow. This was super easy to set up, performs better than most smart TVs I’ve seen, and is compact enough to take with me in the future so I don’t have to think about this.

This device delivers exactly what it promises. The 4K image quality with HDR and Dolby Vision support is outstanding, offering vibrant colors and sharp details on compatible screens. One of its strongest points is the long-range Wi-Fi receiver; the connection remains completely stable and lag-free, even if the router is not in the same room. The user interface is incredibly fluid, intuitive, and fast when switching between apps. Additionally, the voice remote makes searching and daily navigation effortless. It is a highly recommended option to upgrade any TV.

We have this in our bedroom, it is a great little streaming stick, the 4K picture is awesome, set up was easy, love the voice command remote. Comes with a lot of free TV viewing options if you want to save money & cut the cable cord! I almost believe I like it a little bit better than my Apple 4K TV in my Living Room & that says a lot, I am a huge must have Apple fan!

Easy setup. Much better WiFi antenna compared to earlier versions of the product. Power and volume buttons on the remote simplify everything.

This is our second Roku. The stick itself is great, the remote has a couple of issues, all solvable. As for plusses, it's GREAT to be able to turn on and off the tv and control our receiver's volume without needing the tv's or receiver's original remotes. We wish it could also turn ON our receiver - and maybe it can but we haven't figured it out yet. We noticed the new remote has replaced the dedicated Hulu and SlingTV buttons with Apple TV+ and Amazon Prime. Not an issue for us since we rarely remember to use those four buttons anyway. Our frequent services are at the top of our screen anyway. As for drawbacks with the remote, first, the voice search has been pretty useless for us. If you use it to start Netflix or something like that, it's fine although that really adds no value since there's a button to start Netflix in the first place. Likewise, commands like "turn it up," and "turn off the tv" are a simple button push that's much quicker and more direct than using voice control. The ONLY scenario we see where it could be remotely (pun intended) useful is something like "search for horror movies." We've tried searching for specific content with zero positive results. Maybe there are other uses that we didn't see covered in the generic documentation, but it's easier to just not use it at all. Second, the mute and volume buttons on the side are always in the way and MUTE gets pushed accidentally very often. We could adjust how we hold the remote, but then it's awkward to use. I suppose you could call this a silver lining for left-handed people. Overall, we would still recommend this device especially for those with the previous versions that didn't have volume control or voice search - just because we don't find the voice search useful doesn't mean plenty of other people won't.

The Roku Streaming Stick 4K is an excellent streaming device for the price. It supports sharp 4K HDR streaming and has a simple setup. The voice remote is handy, and the interface is clean and easy to navigate. It is very easy to setup. Just plug it right into the HDMI port and use USB for power. I bought it to replace an old Amazon firestick. Roku keeps things clean, simple, and neutral. No clutter, no heavy promotions. It’s the easiest interface for pure streaming.

Super easy to set up and use. Clear interface and logical menu setup. My only beef is having to remove that gross tag from the remote every time I get a new generation of these things. That’s three cents they can save on the cost of goods per unit right there. Yuck.

I've bought, installed and used several ROKU Sticks over the years. I've never had any problem with them. They've always provided me the access I need and want to receive and view a wide variety of TV programs from various sources. The only consideration is as follows: I've used the sticks on TV's that did NOT have the ROKU feature built in to start with. In more recent years, I've replaced older TV's with either ROKU televisions or smart TV's that have the ROK feature built in. That way, I do NOT need to use the separate "stick" product which also requires an additional electrical outlet connection.

Love the Roku stick! It is as easy as they say it is -- takes just a couple minutes to set everything up and you're ready to stream! I love that you can rearrange the icons on your screen, so, say, Netflix is first because you use that the most, and you can delete the icon for Bob's House of Cheesy 70s sitcoms because, well, you have taste. I love the microphone that allows you to speak, whether that is a passcode for any of your streaming services or a search for "Star Wars movies" or more. I also love that, on the Home Screen, there is a button to turn the TV off. In my setup, that not only turns off the TV, but the external speaker. Very handy not because one is lazy, but because it's easy to lose track of all the things you have to turn on and off. In a previous setup, years ago, I had an Amazon Firestick, and it was very nice; this is more advanced, feels good in the hand, and works well. Thank you, Roku!

The Roku Streaming Stick is hands-down one of the best streaming devices I’ve ever used. Setup is super easy—just plug it in, connect to Wi-Fi, and you’re ready to go. The interface is simple, fast, and very user-friendly, with all the big apps like Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Prime Video, YouTube, and tons more. The picture quality is excellent, whether you’re watching in HD or 4K, and the speed is impressive—apps load quickly and videos start without a lot of buffering. The remote is another highlight: it’s small, easy to use, has voice control, and you can even use the Roku app on your phone as a backup or for private listening. One of the best parts is all the free content available through Roku’s own channel and other apps. Plus, the device is super reliable—it doesn’t freeze, crash, or lag like others I’ve tried. For the price, you really can’t beat it. It’s affordable, powerful, and makes streaming effortless. I honestly can’t imagine watching TV without it now.

I bought the Roku Streaming Stick to replace an Amazon Fire Stick used on my TV in my basement. The Roku is giving me much better performance on my home wireless network. I rarely ever experiencing buffering as I did on with the 2019 model of the Fire Stick. The Roku was very easy to set up and I was in business in just a few minutes.

Bought this to replace a previous ROKU of the same model. After a couple of years, that one had died out, overheated I think. I have this now for a while, will wait and see if overheating and dying out is a common problem after a couple of years. The device is convenient and works well, I like the app (listening to headphones through a device is nice touch) and like other things about ROKU. If this one ever fails, I will still stick with ROKU, but I might try one of their other models. Easy to add channels as subscriptions to services are purchased as well as removing them if subscriptions have ended. Great for bringing all your subscriptions to one device and having them on your TV. Lots of free options as well!

It's a pretty cool item...it sure works well and is small...light-weight and easy to use.
