For some reason when my tv is off for a while when I turn my tv on the roku stick turns off so I need to turn the Ruko on manually. Not sure why ?

Good device--with practice

A larger remote control with a number pad would make moving from channel to channel much easier. The volume up/down buttons and mute button being on the side makes for faster operation, but also causes many inadvertent changes, so I've had to learn a new way of holding the remote. With those quibbles aside, this device works well.
