The onscreen menu is un-impressive but simple to understand. This version, did not work with all video formats like dolby vision for some apps as well as atmos.

There are lots of options for pay channels, but I have found the free ones provide plenty of entertainment for me! Didn't really understand what it did until I bought it then, WOW!

Didn’t look closely to see that I’d have to plug it in…salesman said I would not. Frustrating but worked it out. My own fault for completely trusting him. I was more focused on my TV and mount purchase.

ROKU to the Rescue!

They did not have cable - only 3 basic channels. YIKES! we went to Best Buy and talked to one of their wonderful tech tv guys and ended up buying ROKU stick - took it to the Airbnb place and installed on the tv and were able to access (thru our Netflix & Prime accounts) multiple programs. Ut was nice in the evwning to put our feet up and have some of our favorites.

You should be able to decline this until you decide you want to purchase additional services. Would never have purchased if I had known this!
