I spoke with a Best Buy staff member who gave me the low-down on this device. He was right-on. It was so easy to set up, and the best part is that this device saved us from having to purchase a new TV. Roku Stick is the way to go if Netflix with ads doesn't work on your TV.

I got 4 Roku streaming sticks 4k---one for a new Sony smart TV and other 3 for older flat screen "not smart" TVs. They have worked just fine. I think some of the buttons on the remote are a waste, like the 4 buttons for specific streaming services--that is, unless you subscribe to one of those specific four...which I don't. I would like it if I could see the picture when fast forwarding or reversing so I could tell when to stop. I seem to get that with some apps and not others. Maybe that's determined by the app??? Anyway, I came here via DirectTV, so am going through a learning curve. The one other item on my wish list is that multiple TVs could be linked together instead of operating as 4 different entities. Even that is minimal...once everything was up and running, it doesn't really matter.

It was a longer set up than expected. It worked good and did what it wa supposed to.

If you ever want to revive an older TV, or are just looking for a more simple and intuitive interface there is nothing better than ROKU, specifically the streaming stick. This comes with an RF remote which means you can hide it behind a tv and not need line of sight. way better than the more expensive roku that needs line of sight.

This Roku device is great. It was easy to hook up and install and works like a charm.

We love that you can make any tv a smart tv. I like traveling with a Roku then my kids had access to our regular channels and apps.

Best way to turn any tv a pro at streaming. Has all apps you want and is just Percy for finding what you want to watch. Super fast and snappy even with bad internet. 10/10

Great for streaming for my daughter's dorm...google chromecast would NOT work on the wifi in her dorm but this works great and is so easy. Thinking about replacing my chromecast at home!
