The Roku remote volume and mute buttons don't work well. Volume up or down can move in increments of 1, 2, 3 or 4 when I only want 1. The mute button will mute my tv fine but when I try to unmute it tries and then I have to press it again to unmute.

If your remote doesn't have a pairing button, press and hold the Back and Home buttons for 20 seconds. Then, restart your Roku device, replace or recharge the batteries, and try to re-pair your voice remote to your streaming device. Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We bought Roku Streaming Stick 4K | Streaming Device with Voice Remote and Long-Range Wi-Fi - Black in Dec. 2021 to attach to our Sony XBR 4Kl 75" TV, and it worked OK till 7/2024 that the audio signal was completely gone, but the video signal is fine. After many diagnostic processes, we narrowed down 2 possibilities: Roku streaming stick or the HDMI port audio component of the Sony TV. So, we replace the Roku Streaming stick with Amazon FireTV Stick 4K Max yesterday, 7/26/2024. The missing audio signal is restored! That means the fault is squarely on the Roku 4K streaming stick. So, that Roku 4K streaming stick lasts only 2.7 years. The worst issue is that Roku doesn't have any live technical staff phone support AT ALL. Horrible, horrible, horrible when you try to talk to a live person to solve this audio or other technical problem. So, this failed Roku 4K streaming stick is in our garbage can now. Due to Roku's very low life expectancy (2.7 yrs) and a total lack of live tech support phone #, I highly recommend NOT to use Roku 4K streaming stick.

Love the channel selections and you can arrange the channel apps as desired! Setup was pretty straight forward. That said, the remote and the stick needs to be re-paired frequently, sometimes resulting in loss of previous settings - requiring complete new setup. Also, frequently find the stick stops responding to the remote, which requires removing from HMDI, wait 15-30 seconds and reinsert. This can be very inconvenient, depending on HDMI access. Also noticed when this happens the stick is VERY warm! Did not have these problems with earlier version.
