The Roku has worked out great for us I couldn't wait to cut the cable on Xfinity. The Xfinity 800 # is horrible all they are interested in is locking you into is an extended contract. No wonder Xfinity has so many complaints with the BBB.

Bought this for my mom who has trouble with Smart TVs.... Roku is so easy and user friendly! She loves it! This product has saved me hours of daily phone calls trying to guide her on how to use the regular smart tv.. now we can spend that time on just chatting!

Love it. I had been begging my husband to make the change, he was skeptical. When we were informed that our bill was going up yet again he finally gave the okay to cut the cord. We have so many options to choose from, such a variety, something for everyone. We love watching the older sitcoms from our childhood that weren’t on cable tv but we can now with Roku. I was very easto installation, easy to maneuver. Best of all I’m not paying the ridiculous price for cable anymore, and I still get my local news and weather.

Simple/easy to use especially when no internet box to TV. Since do have Spectrum can connect to TV channels through Roku as well as all streaming services. Highly recommend. Only drawback is need to be logged in with payment method so if you rent you can set it for user to input when there/automatically deletes account (if not comfortable with computers/software could be difficult) or setup different payment method without ability to purchase anything without your code (I setup new email anonymously).

the roku streaming stick was easy to install . also no problem to set up with our network and tv.

I was skeptical at first because sticks devices run hot most of the time this one was a dream, runs cold very responsive no issues whatsoever and BestBuy had it at $10 off so for me was a steal. I have it with the mayor streaming services running, no lag, no glitchy images, no problems if you want a great streaming device, 4K with HDR+ that doesn’t consume a power outlet and do the job flawlessly this one is for you.

Control usually works well, easy to set up. If you have Amazon Prime or soe other services, you may need to re- register this device with their systems so plan on that as part of upgrade. Noted that sometimes the roky controller seems to lose connecton with the TV, then you have to re-pair it, see the process instructions to do this. Noted one other issue. I have a Siamese cat who likes to chew on wires. He has ruined a couple of my Roku devices. I finally coated the wire in a bitter tasting pet spray made for this and attached a cabel cover. Just be aware of you have pts who like to chew on wires, try to prevent them brom being exposes.

Best Buy sales helped me figure out which Roku stick was right for me. It works great.

Plugged it in and working great. Just moved it to a second flat screen, no issues with a different manufacturer.
