In the meantime, please try this simple step: carefully unplug the power cable from your Roku player and let it cool down. Avoid placing your Roku in a cabinet or other enclosed space, or on top of other electronic devices. You can also try installing a free HDMI extender to move your Roku away from the back of your TV. My TV has a cover in the back and the stick almost didn't fit, because it's a little long. If you have a TV that covers the cords in the back this is something to consider.

We used to have a tv that has the roku built in but after we upgrade our tv its not the same anymore so we have to buy this in order to download an app where i watch my tv shows. Great item!
