But the remote CONSTANTLY comes unpaired and wont work until you re-pair it. The pairing process requires the stick to be accessed, not easy for a wall mounted tv with the stick behind it.

Posted .Hi there, help has arrived! Roku remotes often unpair from their devices because of issues with the power supply, Wi-Fi connectivity, or remote battery life. To ensure a stable connection, go to Settings > Network and check the connection. Check that the batteries are aligned properly and clear any debris. In some cases, the USB power provided by the TV is not sufficient to power the device, so consider connecting it to the wall outlet. We also recommend installing an HDMI extension cable. It's a bit slower than Amazon 4k Max, so I will be exchanging this item. The other thing that was bogus was that in only 3 weeks, I have had the Roku freeze up 4 different times out of nowhere. I don't know if this is a defective stick or if that is what a Roku often does. Either way, it's slower than 4k Max and when streaming cable and changing channels, rewinding, etc., I'll take a faster processor any day.
