Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The biggest drawback to the streaming stick is not the stick, but rather some of the channels that "may require additional fees" but still tout themselves as free. It seems when I go to watch a particular "free" show, it can not be accessed without subscribing to the premium version of that channel. That's not right and it should be labeled as the piracy and theft that it is. Again, this is not Roku's fault, but lies with the robber barons Roku is forced to show.

I really like the stick version as it hides better than the other versions. I also enjoy that it can be connected to apple devices through airplay. However, as others have mentioned, the remote really consumes the battery and you have to replace them once a month; my solution was to avoid using the remote and use the roku app on my phone to control the tv.

As a tip, always be sure to unplug your headphones when not in use as this will help conserve your battery.

We had Roku in other places. Salesman convinced me to go with this because of the universal remote feature and I bought another to replace an older version on another TV.

I had 2 cable boxes. I returned the box in my theater room and bought the Roku stick. I download the Spectrum app. Works great…I also have Prime and HBO Max…
