Great for adding to a non smart HD TV for a lot more viewing. You can control your costs by using the apps that have free viewing or make your own choices of paying apps so they would match your viewing life style. I have used one on an old TV like a monitor on my porch when the old tv would not pick up local stations any more.

The Roku Streaming Stick makes most less than smart televisions much smarter when coupled together. The Roku is very easy to install and setup. The Roku is capable of very clear 4k steams and connects effortlessly to Netgear's Wireless Routers.

Bought this when it was on sale. Plus I had a $10 off coupon. Couldn’t beat the price and item is easy to set up. Roku allows me to add an app for a cable service the Firestick can’t which is why I purchased it. Would buy again.

I used to use Fire Sticks only. But the Roku is easier to use with a better remote as well. Add the free Roku Channel with all the options makes it a no brainer.

Love this Roku. Have a firestick and this is so much better. So many options. Easy to set up and operate. Haven't had any problems with wifi and the roku is in the garage.

Easy to use. It has everything you need in 1 remote. You won’t need to use other remotes for the power on or the volume.

After fiddling endlessly to no avail with the Amazon stick I gave up and purchased the Roku. Main problem I was having was getting the Spectrum app, which is not available through the Amazon stick. Roku was awesome and now I am easily and quickly accessing what I want to watch.

I like that the remote paired up with my tv, so I only have to use one remote. It is also very easy to program and to use on a daily basis to watch the different streaming services. The price is also extremely good, bought a second one for my wife's set.

Great option to paying Summit Broad Band $10/month for an additional Amino box. Once set up and programmed it delivers a nice sharp picture and access to many of the standard national channels we watch ie ABC, FOX, etc. Only disappointment is that the remote does not light up.

Cable cost went way up on us. Tried to negotiate, but could not go anywhere with Cable so we discontinued the service. We bought four Rokus, four leaf antennas, one ZJBOX (for recording). The first surprise was how clear the picture is from the leaf antenna. Much clearer than the cable. On the other hand, now we have three remote controls to work with. (Universal remote does not work.) Roku has plenty of free channels to watch. We will not pay for any channel to watch. (There are many streaming services available, however.) We are receiving about 40 channels from the leaf antennas and many more from the Roku TV. And NO monthly payments (other than the Internet payment)! (There are plenty of advertisements, however.)

Love this streaming stick. Set up was easy and it responds well to voice commands. I bought this for travel (it's easy to use with hotel TVs) but at such a great price, I may replace my older Rokus I use at home with this stick.

I've used other streamers (Fire TV and Apple TV) and the Roku platform is the best by far. Its incredibly user friendly and quick and responsive. This model includes 4K sources and importantly, TV Volume Control on the remote. For the money its the best streamer on the market!

Ive used many streaming devices. This is the best budget device to use for a tv that is either outdated or has an OS that is laggy for example fire tvs. Smooth and easy to use without ads. I have many Roku devices for my LG tvs.

Simple to use and priced right. I like the fact that it's not affiliated with Amazon, Google, Apple or any of those content providers. Simple to set up and it works great.

Tried a Roku in another room after the FireTV remote failed and quit working. Setup was so simple and the ease of use (the remote is wonderful and intuitive) I decided to replace my three other FireTV devices with a Roku. Highly recommended!

Love having the upgraded stick with 4K streaming capability. Easy to set up and the voice remote works well. The number of streaming options is awesome with many being no additional charge. Preferred over a Firestick.
