    Item defective after 15 days literally a day after the return period ended. Wi-Fi disconnects constantly and the remote won’t work unless I reset the Roku. Buy a fire stick instead

    I can't say anything yet ... I need help getting Roku on my TV. I contacted them yesterday and they want $1. to start and then $55./year. They put it on my card right away and I got a call from the card company regarding fraudulent transaction (?). I cancelled that, and so far NO ROKU SERVICER!

    We went thru 2 of these units and they did not work out. Worked fine for a few days/weeks, then would shut off and we could not re-boot them and have them stay on. Did all of the suggested fixes including an HDMI extension, but still shut off. Had pretty good reviews and that is why we went with it, but it did not perform for us. Was on a 40" Sony with good air circulation.

    I am a fan of Roku but this "improved" version DOES NOT COME WITH HDMI EXTENDER CABLE. Must be ordered online which delays installation by a week! Very poor business practice.

    Mine was dead on arrival, with the infamous "Error Code 022 - wireless receiver not detected". Roku support was completely useless, even though this is a known defect for at least two years. I'm ordering a different model to try, since this defect appears to be a problem only for the Streaming Stick.

    Would be 0 stars, if possibe. Out of the box new, would not activate, link, or pair, even after hour + on phone with customer support. Throwing it in the trashcan. Roku never again for me. Going to Firestick, they at least include hdmi extender in thier box.

    If you have an older flat screen this thong is junk! Won't connect properly and i keep getting an error that says the display resolution isnt accepted. Do not buy this unless you have a 4K tv

      We'd recommend trying another HDMI port on your TV, or trying another TV to ensure that the original port is working as intended. You may want to try a different HDMI cable (shorter than 6 feet long). If you haven't already, be sure to try the HDMI cable and power cord that come included with your player as not all cables are created equally.

      In order to view content at the best and highest resolution, ensure that your Roku player's display settings are set to Auto-detect.
