In the meantime, please try this simple step: carefully unplug the power cable from your Roku player and let it cool down. Avoid placing your Roku in a cabinet or other enclosed space, or on top of other electronic devices. You can also try installing a free HDMI extender to move your Roku away from the back of your TV. Spectrum wanted $10 a month to watch tv, you can use this and don’t have to set a user name it just knows you are at home and connects to your cable plan.

Roku has better user interface, faster response. But that is just one opinion. And I've been streaming with my Roku streaming stick for more than 10 years, no issues.

It is very easy to install. Remote works well and batteries are included. Provides great value (note value doesn't necessarily mean cheap).
