Had a Roku TV but new one has Google TV. What a mess. So I purchased this to be able to return to an easy to use system.

Love this item for streaming especially if you have an older tv. This is my second purchase of this item

It works really well. Glad we upgraded. It nice not to have the little gizmo box that you had to line up.

Best gift ever ! I bought this remote for my friend who is fighting Cancer , she love it ! She have an old Tv with this remote she can watch any shows or series.

I love my Roku stick- I still have cable so it is in an auxiliary TV. I could easily see why someone would just go the streaming route, plus they make it so easy to access free TV options

Love my ROKU. Since doing away with Uverse, we went with ROKU and HULU. The ROKU was very easy to set up and quickly connected to all TVs.

Roku is definitely very easy to install but a little difficult to get started.

We canceled our monthly tv subscription and purchased several Roku sticks for our televisions. They were easy to set up and we are extremely pleased with the variety of free programs available. We bought 2 more as gifts for Christmas.

I am a long-time Roku user. I bought two Roku Streaming Stick 4K devices to replace older models. Over the Roku Express the replacement was a very dramatic improvement. Over the Steaming Stick + the improvement was a little more subtle, but there was noticable improvement in WiFi reception and possibly higher bandwidth too. It seemed that previously (when I checked occasionally) with the Streaming Stick + that I rarely got over 60 Mbps, often less than half that. With the Streaming Stick 4K, I'm seeing around 3 times that speed on both TVs. Practically speaking what this means is far less buffering while streaming content. The biggest bonus for my purchase was that I purchased these Roku devices during the Black Friday sale at about $30 each. If you can find them near this price, don't hesitate!!

I have used Roku devices for years. The 4K Roku is the best. A device is on every televisions in my home. I have a 4K smart tv in the living room and I still have a Roku device on that tv.

Bought this for an older tv that I wanted to set up for streaming. It was easy to set up toking only about 5 minutes. It’s intuitive and easy to use.

Great way to stream the shows we like! It works well with our outdoor projector, easy to set up.

If all you want is 2 ch stereo sound, then just plug it into an HDMI receptacle on the back of your TV, and you're good to go. However, if you are after 5.1 ch surround sound, your TV may not be able to pass this signal to your AVR. My TV from 2015 could not. (Maybe a brand new TV can do this. Check the specs for DD+.) If you have a fairy new AVR that can process a DD+ signal, then plug the Roku directly into your AVR. Then [**important**] do a factory reset of the Roku to update all the apps. After I did this the Roku delivered magnificent sound from Netflix, HBOmax, Disney+, and Peacock. (Haven't tried any others.) One little problem - about every third time I turn everything on, I have to re-pair (i.e. link up) the Roku remote with the Roku. I have it powered from a USB receptacle on the AVR which means it goes off when the AVR goes off. Maybe if I plug it, instead, into my power strip (it includes an adapter for this), it will stay on continuously, and this won't be a problem. Haven't tried this yet. But once it activates and links with the remote, it works great.

A great product. Needed to replace an original much older Roku. I was happy with the first but really enjoy having the newer technology such as speaking the channel I want.

Highly recommend. TVs normaly come with free apps but a roku device is faster and more reliable.

It worked perfect. I cut the cord with cable and went with You Tube TV with frontier 500mps I had one tv that didn’t have the app preloaded that’s where the Roku stick came into play. I’m now saving $142/month
