The reason I bought it was because my “smart” TV was missing several apps like DIRECTV Stream and HBO Max. Works great and easy to set up.

The voice remote is also amazing at recognizing what I'm saying.

We kept loosing the signal and having to switch back and forth on channels. The Roku streaming stick solved our problems and streaming is awesome now.

Still learning navigation -would like an easy way to make my streaming service the primary starting point. Occasionally the screen freezes and there is no voice but to unplug the device to start over.

Basic Features Work Vey Well

Setup went without a hitch, and the feel and response of the actual control unit is good. I haven't delved into any of the more advanced features of the device, but to date I have been very happy with the unit's features and performance.

Great purchase

Very happy with it, actually have a better picture than I did with Comcast!

In the meantime, please try this simple step: carefully unplug the power cable from your Roku player and let it cool down. Avoid placing your Roku in a cabinet or other enclosed space, or on top of other electronic devices. You can also try installing a free HDMI extender to move your Roku away from the back of your TV. I throw one in my backpack when I'm on the road and in 5 or 10 minutes I can connect to all of my own entertainment apps with little trouble. At home, the 4K HDR is crisp and clean providing what it promises.
