My TCL TV android-based streaming hung and crashed frequently, and all system updates had been applied. This Roku device is fast and works without taking five minutes for a streaming service to start. And you can get the Apple Music app on this! Now, I don't have to connect my phone via Bluetooth to listen to Apple music on the surround sound I can listen from the TV.

Great Purchase!

I am surprised at the ease of use and voice control is great. Also, my TV-watching world has greatly expanded! I had no idea how many free channels, news, and movies there are out there. Connected my Netflix account and got a cheaper subscription to HBO to watch my favorite show, Succession.

Great gifts, and the new roku stick has a long range wifi and is 4k. They are truly easy to setup.

The remote was a little glitchy for the first month or so, but has settled into its role and works well now. The voice function works great and the few ads that appear during most shows are short. I should have gotten Roku sooner :-)

Both work great. Very good range for the wifi and easy to use. I still prefer the Roku Ultra but these are excellent options at roughly 1/2 the price.
