The only thing I do not like about Roku is that every few years you have to buy a newer model or they will phase out what you can watch which is why I give it a moderate value rating.

There are plenty of streaming platforms to choose from. The Best Buy associates were very helpful in explaining the device to me. Would recommend this item.

Every family car with an entertainment system should have one. This can work of USB power so you don't need a home outlet

When the signal is slow and the firestick buffers, the Roku works without the buffering or buffers alot less. My only complaint is Roku tries to manage all my account finances which is a plus to many others. Yes I'm one of those people who like free trails then cancel.

These Streaming Sticks work fine until they don't. Over the past several years or so we have had to replace three of them (we have four t.v.s) despite light use (no children here, only the elderly) so their longevity in our experience leaves much to be desired.

So with the USB is enough to power it BUT it still requires a power source to run it. Good thing it is easy to access the band of the TV but it is kind of annoying. That is why only 4 star
