If your remote has a pairing button, press and hold it on the back for 20 seconds. If your remote doesn't have a pairing button, press and hold the Back and Home buttons for 20 seconds. Google OS on Smart TV is less than awful

After my service provider (Spectrum) ran many diagnostics they suggested my solution was to bypass Google and purchase an independent ROKU device, working through that to bypass Google. I will hook that up tomorrow. The knowlegeable Customer Service re[s at Best Buy were not surprised with my issues!

This is the 2nd unit with the same problem. Tried many support/community suggestions including batteries, resets, cache clear, etc. but nothing helps. It's annoying every time I go to use it.

Last Roku I will ever buy

I have 4 Roku tvs and 3 of them , the remote does not work. Including this last one I bought several weeks ago. Called Roku support and there fix for all 3 was to go buy new remotes. Unexceptional!!

It has issues connecting to internet sometimes even though the router has full signal and the roku connects to the router. Otherwise works for me to get the apps that i cant download on my lg tv.
