upgrade for my old Roku

It loads much faster and runs better but the best benefit is the remote. I now can control volume and turn the TV on/off.

On the Roku, I can access my paid subscriptions like Netflix. I have access to so many apps and free shows. This is perfect for the tv watching I do. And I can take my Roku when I travel. Plug in, attach to wifi and I’m watching my shows.

Well Worth It!

I will say the volume control doesn't work on a tv they have satellite hooked up to, but that might be for the best for them. They've complimented the new streaming set up on multiple occasions, so I know they're happy with how things are working. If I didn't already spend money on the more basic Roku devices, I'd be getting one of these for myself!!
