Posted .Hi Erika, thanks for being a fan! To keep your Roku Streaming Stick cool and happy, make sure it has plenty of ventilation. You might also think about using an HDMI extender to move it a bit farther away from your TV, and be sure to avoid putting it in enclosed spaces or near any heat sources. Regularly restarting the device and keeping its software up-to-date can really make a difference, too! It works as it should

However, if you are placing it in a mounted TV, you may need an HDMI dongle to connect it to the TV depending on where the connector is located on the back of the TV. You also need a power source nearby because the other side of the stick must connect to power and cannot be connected to the back of the TV. Other than that, it is good to go.

Setting up new account was a bit slow. This unit was on sale and was less expensive than older models.

ROKU STREAMING STICK
