I simply set it up at home and went I was out of town for a week, I plugged into the hotel HDMI slot and it was like I never left my subscriptions. It was also very responsive.

I also have the ROKU Ultra, which I've had a lot of problems with, so I'd actually recommend the Stick over the Ultra. Unfortunately, the Stick does not have the headphone jack on the remote, which is present on the Ultra remote. Choose your convenience.
