The down side of this one is: it doesn't control sound bars only the sound built in to the TV. It also can't be controlled by typical universal remotes. For $20 this would be okay, for a premium $50 streaming solution not so much.

I have an older roku that never and still doesn't have this problem. I just spent an hour with their customer support and eventually gave up because they were useless. I never leave reviews for anything but I need to let people know not to buy this piece of junk.

It's a bit unusual to have to change your batteries so frequently under normal usage and we have a few tips that may help. You can try: replacing the batteries with fresh alkaline ones, checking for obstructions in the IR sensor, resetting the Roku device and remote, ensuring the remote is not too far from the Roku, and avoiding the use of rechargeable batteries.
