Google OS on Smart TV is less than awful

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have 500mps download on wifi yet anything I try to watch on my new "Smart Google" Hisense 50" TV buffers so much it's impossible to watch! After my service provider (Spectrum) ran many diagnostics they suggested my solution was to bypass Google and purchase an independent ROKU device, working through that to bypass Google. I will hook that up tomorrow. The knowlegeable Customer Service re[s at Best Buy were not surprised with my issues!

Have had to unplug it and reboot 3 times. One more and I take it back. Great when it's working, but....BTW, if you have a sound bar, the volume control on the Roku doesn't work.

Please know that your Roku remote is designed to control volume and power for your TV. It cannot directly control other devices connected to your TV, such as an audio/video receiver (AVR) or soundbar.
However, your TV may be able to issue volume commands to your AVR or soundbar using a technology called HDMI CEC. In these cases, your new remote can indirectly control volume for your AVR or soundbar. For this to work, all your devices must be connected via HDMI, and all devices must support HDMI CEC and have this feature enabled. Learn more here: https://support.roku.com/article/360034303013.
