One of the sticks is now having an overheating issue after about an hour of use. I have used there extender cable and changed locations without help. There support is horrible. Chat or email and they tell you the same thing over and over again. Unplug retry etc. You get what you pay for on this device. I would recommend staying away from it as many others have the same issue.

As a reminder, you may want to try finding a cooler location for your Roku player. For example, avoid placing the unit in direct sunlight, or inside a cabinet (or other enclosed space). Similarly, avoid placing the unit on top of other electronic devices such as cable boxes, routers, or audio/video receivers, as these also tend to emit heat.

However, when I installed it on my TV, I could no longer get any broadcast channels except PBS. Even my old Roku device wouldn't work. I contacted the Geek Squad and the problem was unresolved until I paid $100 to have the Geek Squad come to my house. My black Friday deal was much more frustrating and expensive than I anticipated.

ROKU only set up for TV's for control. My firestick on the other hand is faster, capable of surround sound and Receiver compatible. I only bought the ROKU to take advantage of my Spectrum Cable channels offered through ROKU!
