I have used both Roku and Amazon fire sticks and like them both. The Roku menu systems works well and easy to use. I have installed on several older TV's with HDMI and not had any issues yet. Setup was nice as it asked me what streaming channels I wanted and was quick to do.

Connected this long-range wifi Roku to my basement TV with my wifi access point located two floors above it. It works faster than the older Roku we use on a TV that is one floor below the access point.

This “plug in” is awesome. Just plugs to the HDMI port. No room taken up on or in entertainment center and no cords. 4K awesome. Instant response. I would suggest picking one of these up.

Ideal for areas with small shelf space, still use this for my main bedroom TV. More convenient than the model with the box.

Love this streaming stick. I inherited a Samsung Smart TV, but Samsung's available apps lacked a lot of the streaming services. Worse, the apps often required manual updating and or replacing. The Samsung software does not make that easy to achieve. But the Roku stick has every streaming app that you will ever want, plus many, many more that you will never even bother with. In most cases, the apps automatically update themselves seamlessly, plus the menu'ing software is far superior to the Samsung software on its own, If you bought a Samsung TV and disappointed with the available streaming apps, the Roku stick is a quick and easy way to upgrade your new smart TV. Set up can be a bit confusing at first, had to tell the TV where to look for the stick, but after that it has worked well for over a year now.

Great Roku streaming device with a voice remote. We have spectrum cable/internet. Only Roku supports spectrum app. The voice remote is so convenient for channel searches and YouTube, etc. Best of all, Black Friday price was half off, which made this a great purchase.

Upgraded from an older version. This version has a microphone feature which is very hand if you don't want to use a remote control for typing. Plus this can control TV volume and Power.

What a great investment. I have been researching these for a bit. Asked my Son-In-Law who is a "rocket scientist" what he thought. He said that he had a Roku and loved it. That was good enough for me. Thinking of getting rid of Direct TV. Done playing their games with raising prices.

I purchased this when I moved to an area without cable because it gave me access to streaming services not included on my tv set. I now have everything set up through the Roku and no longer rely on the tv remote at all.
